Afternoon all (still afternoon as I've not had tea yet). We've also got some Christmas shopping in, but via the Tinterweb as it's easier.

Saturday plans for us have been checking out a sixth form college with the eldest, then transferring stuff to the allotment, before going out tonight.

Options are swimming whilst listening to a live band, or cocktails, or a politician talking about his memoirs (Please Mr Postman, by Alan somebody? ), or real ales, or Riverdance, or folk dancing. Whatever we pick, I'm starting with curry.

I'd opt for loads of the real ales, followed by your own interpretation of The Supply and Demand Theory via the medium of Modern dance. Just a thought.

This, then.

I have choreographed some pieces, which is the quickest way I've found to embarrass my 3, and Mrs CJ joins in. The girls do a variety of dance classes through the week, and they take no prisoners when we do Wii dance offs.

I give it 4 hours.

It was closer to 24, but I spent half of that asleep. It was a nice place, but, well, let's just say I'm not as good as doing sod all as I thought.

I got the first bus out this morning. The bus had WiFi, from which I booked a nice hotel for the rest of the weekend, via MacDonald's.

Though I dare say that says more about me than anything else.

It's been exciting while you were away. The Foo Fighters released a new single, which surprisingly surprised some people by being dull.

Swimming while listening to a live band? That sounds too unusual to not do surely!

Craig Charles was EPIC last night, probably the last gig I'll see at 53 Degrees before they shut it for reasons not really known :(

One of the highlights of this year. Breakdancing circles in the middle of a thunderstorm under the spider. Excellent stuff.

Missed him at Arcadia but saw him at Shangri-Hell for the last two years. Great tunes for a boogie in the sunshine!

It's always good to learn things about yourself

I quite fancy a MacDonalds now.
