Secure Parking ?

Can I ask a question as I am new to all of this Glastonbury stuff?

As part of our bonus in the city sixteen of the sales team were give VIP corporate tickets , backstage passes & hospitality and camping in a yurt. How secure is parking as I have just picked up my Bentley Continental GT and Alexander only has a Mercedes AMG after wrapping the Range Rover round a tree , I am only going to tick it off my bucket list and would be mortified if it was to get damaged.

Are there many champagne bars on site?

Thanks

Rollo.

Im fairly certain Mr Eavis has arranged underground parking for anyone with corporate VIP passes so no need to worry about the Bentley.

I would tell the chaps to maybe bring an extra Barbour though as the yurts don't have central heating yet, sadly.

If you find yourself lost at any time or in need of help, most of us peasants are still happy to tug the forelock and muck in when our betters require it.

Just ask any of us plebs and I'm sure we'll oblige with any arsewiping or somesuch that you would obviously not be doing yourselves.

It the motor gets a little dusty there will be literally thousands of us willing to give it polish before you set off home, just for the honour of being near a car so far beyond our means.

one year I did see a Lamborghini Murcielag drive up the production road into the backstage Compound and he must have been a right dickhead to take in such a low slung car - I was working in the Compound and I am glad to report ' he got stuck ' and he had to call a Recovery truck to pick him up and leave.
another year I was asked in the guest bar for a very expensive bottle of champagne which we did not stock - I told him to come back a few hours later as ' we had to send a helicopter back to London to pick it up ' - he said no problem and walked off but was back within two minuets and said ' if your going to all this trouble I will have two bottles !! '
