How do you all go about recovering after the festival? Last year I was a husk of a man for about a week afterwards!

I've bought some 5-HTP this year which I hope will do the trick. Anyone else got any other suggestions?

I usually give a day or two to watch any videos on iPlayer which cheers me up somewhat.

at the moment 120 tablets are cheaper than 60...

for me its worth it, just helps relieve that slightly dead feeling. But it can make some people throw up.

I'm spending a couple of days in bed then going to the seaside with my daughter and Glasto widow.

I always feel really low for a few weeks after, probably partly because I can't say well there's always next year to look forward to because you don't know if you'll get lucky on ticket Sunday. And the bbc coverage is so shit but still watch it avidly with a tear in eye. And the photos you take (same year after year) don't do it one iota of justice either.

I realised after I posted that this thread was meant to be about how we recover, not a moan about how depressed we will be

So I've booked a week off work (yay) and I shall think about my forthcoming wedding in September.

I agree with the 5htp, lots of sleep and loads of healthy food and fruit and veg. Book the week off work, or at least a few days and make a nest in front of the TV and snooze and drift gently back down into reality Works for me

I'll be embracing this years massive hangover. It will be a walk in the park compared to the recovery from food poisoning I was left with after last years.

As Glastonbury always falls on my wife's birthday, to over-ride the guilt I'm taking her on a theatre trip on the Tuesday/Wednesday, so no time to recover, except for a quick snooze during the show I hope!!

My Missus will be at me reminding me of her hardship whilst i have been away etc etc etc etc.............. I know i will be coming back to a stock take becuase my assistant Manger fucked it up last year when i gave him clear instructions................... but who cares i am mega lookoing forward to it

Tuesday I will pick up the dog and a big bucket of fried chicken then me and my girls will watch an unhealthy amount of tv. Wednesday I will feel better so big walk then day at the allotment. We booked the week off after to recover. However now it looks like we will be moving house a couple of days after getting home, so that will probably finish me off.

Couple days of rest, couple days of work, then I'm off to wireless festival on the Friday....seemed like a good idea at the time
