William's Green Launch Party

Last year Dry The River, Django Django and Alt-J played on the Thursday night.

Should we expect something similar this year? At the same venue, or perhaps one of the new stages?

Hoping that Metronomy fancy doing a stint on Thursday night as them clashing with Arcade Fire is a flipping nightmare!!

I really hope they do another party

Stumbling across Django Django last year was absolutely fantastic and they had the place rocking (as did Alt-J to follow) and it certainly helped alleviate clashes.

Could be a wealth of bands anything from Foster the People to Metronomy!

I will definitely be there whoever

Oh man, it got CRAZY in that tent! We only went to see DTR and when word got out (I think via twitter) that Alt-J were on, it felt like the entire site was trying to get in. I know it was the opening party for the new stage, but I'm sure there'll be something on again.

That Thursday night in there was great then tent was brilliant, I had no idea who was on didn't see DTR & didn't know who was on next if anyone then Django came out followed by Alt J to acts i was hoping to see that weekend so it certainly helped with clashes.

I imagine this year it might be a lot busier mind..

One of the highlights last year was Django/Alt J. I found out via twitter and was in by the end of DTR.

Would love to have the bands on Thursday this year!

Royal Blood, Chvrches and Bombay Bicycle Club would do nicely :)

I loved it, it was my first experience of a glasto secret set

I got a text from a friend outside glasto saying it was happening

turned up to the tent and everyone was anticipating something, it was great! It made the process of seeing alt-J quite an event!

I think i saw on twitter before i went that there would be live bands playing there and Django Django were definitely playing. Me and my mates rocked up quite early, think it was around 8 and there was just this crap dj playing. Had a chat with one of the security guys and he showed us his lanyard with the bands and times playing, so we stuck around and got on the barrier.

What a great way to start the festival! Django Django were superb, the tent was rocking and Alt-J were perfect in the small tent. Helped alleviate clashes later on the weekend and bagged an Alt-J setlist at the end too.

I'll definitely be there this year!!

A security guard told me in the afternoon as well. We left after Django Django and it was never too busy. Would like to see some of my clashes play to help me out. Bombay Bicycle Club would be fantastic as would Jagwar Ma. Fingers crossed for something like that.

    • First thing I saw on socials today were people talking about Limp Bizkit spending most of their set dicking about, does not surprise me.
