Andre91
Oh for fuck's sake, can you not just give this tripe a rest now? FOALS ARE HEADLINING*. Whether that be headlining on their own or co-HEADLINING with someone else. Its still headlining and the clue is still in the name. Jesus Christ, talk about flogging a dead bloody horse. *if info is to be believed. Edited December 11, 2015 by Andre91

No, my point is how can you presume to know what the organisers are thinking? I'm pretty sure I remember someone on here mentioning that in 2011 The Strokes were planned to outright headline until R&L learnt Pulp were also available? It may be a similar case that both Foals / Disclosure were available, and both looking for headline slots. If the info is to be believed, Disclosure and Foals are both headline sized for R&L in 2016. It doesn't matter how much anyone can argue for / against it, if they're booked as a co-headliner, Foals will be headlining, closing either Reading or Leeds. Yeah the 2011 thing is true, and for the 2013 co-headline they gave offers to QOTSA and Paramore, and only ended up with a co-headline because both agreed (they even had to explain to co-headline slot after they'd agreed, so it's clear that the initial offers were just standard headline offers). So, we have had 2 instances of co-headlines so far, and neither were because the acts weren't deemed big enough to headline on their own, so fuck knows where Gazza's getting this from.

LOLOL, so you're telling me that provided Disclosure do co-headline they are big enough to outright headline on their own?, even though a crowd that absolutely lap them up in T won't have them at that status and nor would Glastonbury if they had them? Just for the record, Disclosure are NOT an outright headline act for any major UK festival yet.
