Special Guest appearances

I'm going to start a topic about the idea of special guests appearing with other bands, although we obviously don't know much of the line up.

This sprouted from me learning that Robbie Williams and Lily Allen did a song together, and I really like it despite not being a fan of Robbie. It got me wondering if he'd make an appearance with her as she did for him at his Palladium show.

So my next question is, of everyone rumoured to headline/play, who do you think there special guests will be? Who would you LOVE to see on stage together?

That should keep us occupied till June.

That didn't really answer the question. I'm not talking about surprise appearances, but special guests with singers. Like Lou Reed with Gorillaz, Kylie with Scissor Sisters etc.

From the half a dozen bands we've currently think/know; Richard Hawley with Manics.

Though I do always have an ominous feeling that Florence Welch could appear with anyone at any time...

I personally think they need to nip it in the bud, at least on The Park stage... it just cant handle it and it ruins the atmosphere that area has.

Oh and someone else's shout from a few weeks or months ago that someone wearing a Bowie head is gonna join Arcade Fire onstage during Reflektor, and it'll forever be a mystery whether it was really him or not. That's gonna happen.

Hawley could guest with both Manics and Elbow, though he claimed that he turned it down last year despite being offered "a lot of money" because it is now "meaningless" and "corporate", so I doubt he is on the list at Worthy Farm!

I think it makes sense for Mr Bowie to guest with Arcade Fire on the Friday night before he graces the Pyramid on the Saturday.
