Hard wire or wi-fi

After hours of reading through these forums I have concluded that multiple tabs is bad but pressing the f5 key is good. But would I be better off hard wiring my laptop to my router or is wi-fi going to be fine - ie will I get a mirco-second faster speed and therefore increase my chances on T-day?

PS had a dream last night that I was chatting to James Allan from Glasvegas at Glasto, so hopefully it means i'm getting a ticket (not that bothered about Glasvegas mind)

I had my laptop (wi-fi) and desktop (hard wired) on the go yesterday. Got through on the laptop first and whilst I was entering my details, got through on my desktop. Moral of the story? Doesn't matter.

Having said that, do what makes you feel better. If you don't get tickets and you didn't bother plugging into your router, you'll feel bad. I really don't think it makes a difference, but I suppose theoretically hard wired would be better.

This!

Wifi is as good as a wired connection when it works, but if yours is a bit flaky with your connection, grab a wire and plug straight in. But speed etc. should be fine for the ticket page. (Homeplugs are another great option if you don't have somewhere near to your router to sit..but that's going off topic slightly :P)
