Best support band I ever saw was Rolo Tomassi and they're also the only reason I went to the same gig Architects were playing tbh

Rolo Tomassi were the first heavy band I saw live. I'll always remember them because I didn't know what to expect. I expected people to be punching each other and there to be mosh pits everywhere. It got to about ten mins in and I was disappointed to be honest, there was nothing.

Them my mate tapped me on the shoulder, I looked behind me and there was carnage- the tallest human pyramids I have ever seen, mosh pits, circle pits. They were incredible. Two months after, I went to see them at the well in leeds. Absolutely amazing band.

How does that work in a crowd of about 20 people?

I was thinking about going.

How much in total did it cost, roughly?

(If you don't mind me asking)

Overall you're gonna be set back at least £1000, the flights being the most expensive part. We got accommodation for free though because a mate had a place out there so that saved us a lot of money. Either way it isn't cheap at all and I'm still paying for it hahaha

I was thinking around £1500. I'll price it up in 2016, I'll see if I can do it.

Would Lorde Sub?

I really want to see her. I know she's not 100% for the festival, but I reckon she would go down well.

She started work on her second album recently and aims to start recording in March. I know she won't play, but it'd be good.

Ultimately though, I want Nick Cave. I understand that there's more chance of Melvin ringing me personally, and asking me to play "when I'm cleaning windows" on my banjo string for 1hr as sub, but one can dream (Of nick cave subbing, not my banjo string)

Ps, STROMAE to sub Deadmau5

Goodnight

Blitz Kids aren't really big enough yet... had a tiny crowd at Sonisphere. Plus Don Broco are too low. Don't see Mallory Knox what with them doing Download and been at Reading a lot recently.

Very happy to see Halestorm on there though. Really hope they play.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
