Is Drake a possibility at all after the Coachella announcement? Metallica would possibly cancel out the wishes of those after heavier acts, and after last years Macklemore, Paramore and Imagine Dragons slots more mainstream artists aren't totally unlikely, surely.

Also AlunaGeorge have a new album out soon, they went down a storm in 2013, reckon they may be back?

Drake is totally out of the question he doesn't fit the festival at all while as those other acts you listed do. Also Coachella line ups have no bearing on the R&L line up at all, infact they only share a few acts.

As in it sounds like it's gonna be shit?

Or as in everything happening on this board is abysmal and I want to die?

Just the regularity of 'this can happen because Macklemore/Jake Bugg' and repetitiveness of 'what do people think about [already heavily discussed act] playing?'. Doesn't matter though. Should get better in a couple of weeks or so.

The quality of posting in general has been woefully poor. We should all be ashamed.

Sorry. I'm not attacking you about it, even though it does look like that. A lot of people have used that line though end neither of those acts were out of the ordinary anyway.

Nah don't worry about it, I'm new the the R&L thread. Perhaps it's because last year, half the acts were a dead cert by this point.

Ah just clocked that Rudimental are around next Summer. Guess they could be the dance headliner on the NME. Or even play on main, they seem suitable for sunny outdoor slots, but last time I suggested that most people seemed to think it wouldn't happen, so probably NME headline.

Edit: Played V last year, too, so yeah I think they're probably quite likely.

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..
