There will be a Manchester date at the Phones4U Arena apparently, Ticketmaster accidentally sent an email alert out for it.

That will do! Any word on the date? I tend to go on holiday in October, then a tonne of excellent gigs get announced for while I'm away, happens every damn year.

Erm, when I said I would die I meant it in a good way haha. I really really love DCFC and them on the bill would sell me a ticket for sure! I'm already happy with Metallica, Jamie T and Refused, but waiting for some more announcements.

I can really see Foals playing third down on Main Stage this year.

10th I believe.

Not gonna show any proof to mess with cragzy.

Thanks, dental.

I reckon this year's festival is shaping up as a good one for me to return to and relive my teenage years, strong prospects of Fall Out Boy, Weezer and The Cribs, I'm gonna party like it's 2006!

It is being announced tomorrow so there you go. Just wait one more day

You are aware it is 2015 not 2013 right?

Actually thinking about it Foals by then will have 4 albums and the vaccines 2 (I believe I'm not a huge fan just listen to them now and then) aren't the foals a lot bigger?

The Vaccines will have 3 by then and I'd say The Vaccines are a bit bigger but there's not much between them.

I'd rather have Foals headline in 2016 though but I would say The Vaccines are bigger (and probably will be in 2016 but who knows)

I'd say Foals are bigger, but if either were to play in 2015 it would be subbing or maybe headlining NME. Given it's 3 years since they last played I think Vaccines will come back and sub this year, before the Libs of whoever the 'indie' headliner is. Foals will either headline or sub in 2016 depending on how big their next album is.

It's okay. I build up a bank of upvotes for occasions like this.

But seriously, people are coheadline crazy. Especially now all new headliners must be coheadliners, which aren't as big as normal headliners so can't be considered so, so there won't be any new headliners ever.

edit: Also at least you have the courage to tell me like I did. Unlike those cowards...

    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
    • I mean...I do think it all needs more regulation, but god knows how when it's all so global...but there's so much stuff on there that is messing with our little minds. But also, he has given these companies till September, and well...he'll surely be gone by then. I think social media ban for under 16s will likely happen, but I think regulating it for everyone is better. It's the not the kids we should be worried about, it's all those middle aged doom scrolling keyboard warriors like me.
    • I agree the prices are tough for locals. You can see if Porto timetable is the type that works for you and it's a terrific city. Also cheaper. https://www.primaverasound.com/es/porto/lineup-porto
    • thanks XXialac! i guess for us the most important aspect will be a festival that starts very late in the day, specially in these southern countries were it can be really hot! The combination of visiting a new city, having good lunches and enjoying a festival is a absolute must for us. Also, we like headliners but the undercard is just as important; truly enjoyed Men I trust, NewDad, Big Thief this year so from that angle it is not really a big thing if a festival is somewhat smaller.    Apparently my bad, i had 5 in my system but 0.5 (10%) increase is still huge. I am not sure how teenagers can afford these prices............
