Lineup 2015

I don't know what anything apart from logos on that picture says but I keep seeing Knife Party touted as an outright NME headliner. Are they that big? I could see them closing the stage or something similar, though I'm not that wise on the EDM.

They are a weak headliner/strong sub for nme right now, by next year they'll probably be fine

Probably:

1. The Prodigy because they have a new album which had an article in NME which makes it likely they could be on the NME stage.

2. Knife Party because they have a new album.

3. Pendulum if they reform

4. Daft punk if they tour

5. Hudson mohawke new EP

6. Rolling Stones because they will probably have a 20th final tour

7. Madeon because of a new album

8. Mad decent because they will have new albums coming out

9. Hospitality because of a new compilation and new artists being signed

10. De la Soul because of a comeback tour

When we asked him if any acts booked were headliners, he replied: "There's one booked, there's one booked at least. We're just waiting for them to decide which nights they want to play Reading and which night they want to play Leeds. One's done, the other two will follow."

As for clues, Melvin told us: "It's definitely not a Reading regular. It's not who you think it might be."

Any guesses?

    • I saw this just after it was posted yesterday, I barely paid attention to it. I didn't realise it had blown up in the way it has. I'm sure (kind of) that Sziget will be unaffected - it brings in billions of huf over a very short period. Its consumption, compared to the rest of Budapest, will be tiny in reality. That said, nothing wrong with encouraging people to use less energy whether it's now or in the future.
    • The eulogies are flooding in.   The list I've seen so far is Jenrick,  Hartley-Brewer, Hopkins, Lowe, Pearson   Tells you all you need to know about him...
