Just got an email saying my flight from Dublin is now leaving at 6.20 am on the Wednesday. Going to be shattered even more so on the first night, just what is needed before 4 days of music.

In saying that, can't believe its mid-May already, time is flying by towards it!

Really appreciate the advice.

Bit confused with the e-ticket/free train travel. As I said we are coming from Amsterdam on the Saturday morning. So does this mean we can get free train travel from the first train station in Belgium (from Amsterdam) to mechelen? If I was getting free train ride then I presume I'd save some money?

Really excited to come to this festival.

Terrible clash.

The worst: Placebo - Damon Albarn - Robert Plant in the same time.

Unfortunatly, Rod y Gab are in the same time as Trixie Whitley. For the rest, it could be worse.

I was expecting Stromae closing The Barn but it's even better in the Main Stage after Kings of "boring" Leon.

I've got to say I am so absolutely gutted with the PJ/Pixies clash. Surely anyone can see that those two would share a lot of fans.

Therefore a lot of people who want to see them both get pissed off and the people who don't like this type of 80/90's guitar based music get pissed off because their is no alternative.

Gutted!

Tbf Paolo is a pretty big deal at the moment a lot of hype and 3 top draw albums he should be high, not sure on Belgium popularity though.

Franz/foals clash is the worst for me

Glad haim and black keys are clash free

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
