At the end of their Instagram post they have written that they are headlining a bunch of festivals in Europe over the summer.

Does anyone know if the larger lockers also have phone charging points in them. The small lockers are the only ones which specifically mention phone charging points. As that's the only reason I want one. Sorry - Not sure why my post is quoting sacred shape below.

With the weather I think it's safe to assume we're going to have some light rain/showers over the weekend but it shouldn't cause any major issues. Not with it being so dry in the run up. Still a shame though, although I'm glad it's changed from the really high temps we saw predicted last week. By the way if anyone can figure out how to get the song 'Smoko' by The Chats out of my head I'd be eternally grateful.

Not sure about the beers in the Hive mate but you can certainly traipse back and forth to Leuven. I think the shuttles run towards the site until about 9pm. But could be later.

I saw Grandson at Download a couple of weeks back and I thought he was amazing, a really good show, but only 30mins, so I'm chuffed to see him for an hour. I feel you though, if I was in a hotel in Leuven I'm not sure I'd attend at all on the Saturday. After the withdrawal of Faith No More it just hasn't appealed to me.

I also sneak in some brandy for a nightcap when it's a bit colder watching the headliners.

I'm wondering where the map is. It's usually out in good time before the festival because of the other Werchter festivals, unless I've missed it this year. I have a tradition of a glass of champagne when I first enter the arena before hitting the juplier.

You can get some decent sleeping bags (lightweight and ultralight weight) along with pillows that compress down to a very small size, especially as the weather is okay. I travel from the UK by plane with just a backpack (usually have a camping chair bungee corded to the front). Although I've bought a foldable chair this year which breaks down to nothing. The tent is usually the pain but you guys don't have that issue. I'm an absolute geek about this stuff though, although I don't spend too much on stuff.

Please don't remind me about FNM, I'm still mourning the loss. Previously when there were headliners I haven't wanted to see there has always been something else to watch, such is the diversity of Werchter. However, this year feels very bland in comparison. If you had a pop act on main, dance act in Klub C and an alternative/heavier band in the Barn I think you'd keep most people happy. I don't think they've achieved that balance this year. On the positive side I've never had time to go and have a look around Lueven much in previous years. So on Saturday I'm going to go have a look, have a few beers and make my way back to watch Grandson on the slope.

Mate I've been going for a few years to Werchter and for 30 odd years to festivals and that Saturday is one of the worst I've seen.

It's a shame they couldn't have amalgamated all these random days into the actual festival and made it stronger. But I guess the need to make money after the past two years and the fact its sold out even with a weak line up shows they know what they're doing.

Yup pretty disappointing line up. I'm sure I'll have a good time when I'm there but previous versions have had a lot more wow factor than this. I think I may just be getting too old for festivals as I feel there are so many bland bands just dialling it in. To be fair there was probably tons of dross when I was younger but I was always too pissed to care. Plus I thought it was bad form to try and slip the QOTSA cancellation in unnoticed.

I'd be surprised if we get anything today. Ken is usually a bit more chatty when there is incoming news... Please be more chatty Ken. 😉

Come on Rock Werchter start giving us some names for God's sake. I want the Friday excitement back.
