All u NFR NFC's suddenly bowing to the might of countryfile when us smart bods over at 'the weather thread' have identified the low pressure maybe moving closer to france meaning the is a chance it may miss us the majority of the weekend and the analysis appears to be 'it'll be like 2009' which wasn't a bad year at all. Burn ur TV Licence and stick ur middle finger up to boring programming.

Sorry not been on much. Family needed me. No packing done. Some clothes pulled out.

Preparation level approximately 20%. Have a training course tomorrow and supposed to be working from home early on Tuesday. Setting off late morning.

Not looking good at the moment.

I'm off to Glasto in the morning!

Ding dong the sun IS gonna shine!

This is probably my last post before I head off to Pilton tomorrow. After that I'll only be checking in occasionally to save phone battery, but once I've had a bimble I'll let you know the ground conditions and if I see anything new and interesting.

Just wanted to say it's been an honour and a privilege worshipping the weather gods alongside such fine folk, keep up the online effort, and I'll do some sun dancing up at the farm! Can't wait to meet you lovely lot!

    • Muse new album out soon , European tour announcement for Nov and Dec, no Spanish date and north American tour starts in July and in North America for all of July and August. So primavera and Glastonbury
    • Well he is on a rape charge, don't see that one as controversial.    Although Hakimi is in Morocco squad.
    • Electric Callboy just said they'll be touring here next year. I'm not sure there's a poster for it though. I'll look when I'm near some next.      He said we'll see you at Download at a gig before any of the band. Presumably he was trolling. They're in Austria at the moment and Germany tomorrow with a week's break and more shows in Germany. Whilst not impossible to come back here and then go over there again, it seems unlikely.
    • Thomas Partey, knocked back by Canadian immigration now.
    • I'm sure someone can update you on the clashfinder, and it will be pretty accurate by the time the festival comes around. It's a large flat-ish arena with main stage in the open air, no best side I'd say. Leadmill (3rd stage medium tent) is at the back of the main arena, T'Other (2nd stage big tent) 5 min walk round the corner. At full capacity walking around can take a bit more time though. I noticed that The Enemy are scheduled to not fully overlap with Wolf Alice, so you could catch part of their set too.   You can walk around anywhere with a beer, with most bars the usual mass market stuff, but one nice craft ale tent, back of the arena near the Leadmill stage. A main meal will set you back £10-15, but cheaper snacks also available. Expect a pint to be £7-8. Possibly a bit more this year as prices everywhere are increasing.   It's fairly easy to get to from the town centre using the tram, although can be busy at peak times / very busy at curfew. If you like a walk, it's approx 40 mins to Kelham Island (lots of indy venues) and probably an hour to the city, or catch an Uber. There will be loads of 'fringe' music events on around the city right through the weekend. Most are free. Have a wonderful trip, enjoy the festival, and your stay in our city!
