Overcast but quite light outside. I've got to go shopping today with my better half. We get married next week and still haven't bought the ring. Fortunately her indoors just wants a cheap'ish ring. I did try to get her a bespoke hand made titanium ring but we got thrown out of the jewellers, for reasons I'll not go into now. I hope we have better success today.

Hello clever folks.........

I am trying to post a jpg file from my hard drive and it will not let me. IF I go to a web site and copy an image and paste it that works but however I get this image on my clipboard I cannot paste it here.

I ask as it is a design for an NFR t-shirt and wanted to get feedback!!!

Here is the daft thing.... I can copy it from the Twitter page and paste here but not from my PC, and it would not load into my gallery either. Technophobe Matty!!

No, it's a little bit more sedate than that. Basically we went in to see how the ring was progressing from the design we gave them. They showed us something that didn't even resemble that design. They then tried to blame us for the mistake. My girlfriend went ballistic at this accusation and started calling the bloke every name under the sun. We were then told to leave the bloke's shop immediately. So, my girlfriend stormed out. I then somehow had to get the engagement ring off the bloke which we had given him to use for the wedding ring design (the two were to fit into each other snugly). I also had to try to get my £50 deposit back. I managed to achieve both with the bloke telling me that in all his years trading he'd never had an incident like this and that he was down £350 on materials alone.

I hasten to add that this is not our normal shopping experience, and that I can categorically say that they had got the ring design wrong - it looked nothing like they had said it would.
