Worst Food @ Glasto

Oh actually my girlfriend got some meatballs from the place in the park...while the meatballs themselves were nice, sauce was very bland and pasta was almost cold. Not good

generally the only bad food i ate was the all day breakfast place in dairy fields. Awful food, really expensive, and the customer service was an absolute joke.

Got a under-cooked burger from I Heart Ostrich inbetween Other and Silver Hayes so wenty back and complaind , they then gave us another one equally under-cooked , asked for money back.

I found the campsite food traders (burger van types) generally quite bad - poor quality meat, expensive.

Burger Stall next to the Brothers Bar. Served by the most miserable cow I've ever had the misfourtune to meet - followed up by a small burger in a roll which actually had a bite sized piece mising from it. Complained and got given another one. It was then in a stale roll and tasted awful. It cost £5.00!!! To think i could have bought 5 McDonald Cheeseburgers for same price...shameful!

I ate pretty well all weekend but if I had to choose what was the worst it was a mexican place in main markets bit either near Square Pie or Williams Green can't quite remember- it was a silver caravan. Had a veggie burrito from there which was tasty enough but just a bit too bland.

Agree with others about Gandhi's flip flop being good- that was probably some of the best food I had all weekend

If you're talking about the brazilian burger place, I had a burger from there (when I couldn't be bothered to walk anywhere for something more decent) on (I think) the Thursday night, and while it wasn't the best burger I'd ever had it was far from dreadful too.

Something I found as well - was it mandatory for vendors to give you a free bottle of water if you paid a certain amount? I had that a few times at stalls where I'd actually say to somebody "you've undercharged me".

Hog roast from the stretch between silver hayes and other stage - meat was tasteless, rubbery jelly stuff in place of crackling, they didn't tell me until they dished it up that they were out of apple sauce, and the stuffing was like wallpaper paste. It was so bad I spent the best part of five hours distraught that I had wasted a precious glastonbury meal on it!

I also got a chicken salad box from the place at the back of the other stage. The woman picked the ready made up box off the side, obviously hadn't been refrigerated, and when I got back to my group and opened it up the contents were bordering on warm. I couldn't face eating it and it went straight in the bin. I should have taken it back and asked for my money back but was so hungry I just wanted to get some other food!

The Avalon cafe which has been decent in the past served up a tiny portion of undercooked curry for £9 . So disappointed

I was going to post about the same place - the "Chinese" food was disgusting (my girlfriend insisted on referring to her sweet and sour chicken as "gravy chicken" as it had nothing sweet or sour about it but that is a real slating for gravy that it doesn't deserve. The burgers were truly horrendous and inedible. Dreadful.

One of the days I got a pizza from one of the stalls between the otherstage and silver hayes. It was a green truck type thing and opposite sausage fest I think it was? I don't even know why I ate there it looked shit from the outside. £8 for a small pizza pretty much, which tasted like one you could microwave from asda. They didn't even make it in front of you, so was pretty obvious they were just heating up already made pizzas. Also the guy behind the counter looked like he'd kill you if you got on the wrong side of him.

Other than that everything else tasted great. Especially some of the stalls in the green fields, will eat around there much more often next time.

I ate well all weekend but I went to the same place on Sunday before Phoenix at John Peel. It was just a terrible chicken breast in which they stuck in a bun and then said do you want piri piri sauce yet the whole surround advertised piri piri chicken as if it were marinated properly. First bite after walking away I had to stop at Glastonbury water for a bottle of water as it was so dry. Serves me right really

I got an undercooked to the point of still being raw in the middle burger at the dinner in shangri la while I walking around in the day on Saturday, worse part is I ate half before realising and ended up with a bit of a bad stomach on Sunday night. That'll teach me not to eat only veggie food onsite.

Was pretty lucky with all the food I ate. The worst meal I had was at the Tibetan place near the Pyramid. I had the beef stew and the portion was tiny.

Even the growlers were edible this year!

Mostly ate good stuff but stupidly went to a fish and chips van in Silver Hayes after Pheonix (Was hungry and just before I had dashed down to West Holts to find grillstock already closed!). Fucking shite stuff, tasted absolutely guff.

I didn;t think much of the dirty burger bar for the money either, it was nice enough and better than most burger vans you see around but still a rip off compared to the better places

The only bad food I ate was from the noodle stall on the John Peel side of the Pyramid. I generally avoid the fast food stalls by the main stages, but it was just before the Stones were due on, and we hadn't really eaten all day, so needs must. It was fucking awful - cold and bland - and I threw it away cause I was worried it may actually make me ill. So that was a waste of 7 odd quid.

2. Kebabylon Lamb Kofta - WAY, WAY, way too spicy for what it was and far too much salad made it virtually impossible to eat without dropping it all over Billy Corgan's ego. The Monday morning trip to the portaloo was... heroic.
