My issue isn't forgetting things I'm taking with me, more getting 200 miles down the motorway and starting to think I've left the iron on, or the door unlocked.

If you didn't think of it when you packed then its not important. Pretty much anything can be bought on site. You're only in the shit if you forget your ticket.

I made a half hearted attempt at packing today. I've goat loads more shit to get into them bags but they're almost full up already. Packing and sorting for 3 people this year rather than just my ususal self. It's an odd feeling when you lose control and simply can't work things out. Quite liberating, but scary at the same time.
