Sorry I haven't been on here for a while!

I've missed the festivals for the past couple of years but I am doing my best finding out the headliners for next year.

My source is also finding out Download Headliners for next year soon!

I've had to re register on the Download forums as keese46uk, so if you can let people know of my authenticity, then that would be great! They are currently saying I am full of it!

I can get the headliners for most festivals that my source deals with. I thought you would all remember me! I DMd Neil to let him know I'm back!

if you're going to pretend to be someone, it's always a good idea if you remember enough about that person so that you don't make stupid mistakes with what you say.

What you've posted there is more than enough to prove to me that you are not Keese. Unlike you, I have a decent memory.

Oh dear.

Is keese not the guy who predicts the headliners quite a good bit in advance, he used to be a legend on this forum

he got the R/L headliners almost right for two years on the trot. He also said how he got to know of them.

What this 'new Keese' has said is enough to prove he's not the same person.

Yeah Gazza did love keese, always used him in arguments against Neil.

Also does this 'announcement' really require three different threads? From what I recall keese wasn't much of a showman, just sort of dumped his info and left, seems odd that he'd make such a big thing of it if he did come back and ask people to go and validate his authenticity on other forums.

But then if it isn't keese how did someone get his password to post under his username? And more importantly who cares?

yup, absolutely right.

He also said how his info was obtained - and it certainly didn't stretch as far as getting any info that he might want.

But then if it isn't keese how did someone get his password to post under his username? And more importantly who cares?

No idea. Perhaps it's like gazza/thewayiam, where two people share the same computer login? :P

Or perhaps it is the same guy, but he's now decided to play upon his reputation and post bollocks. Who knows? Not me.

But what I do know is that what's just been posted doesn't fit with what was said in his posts several years back, so I have no trust in what is being posted now.

If he's straight up he'll be able to post 'secret' stuff that will soon be confirmed via official sources, and also prove my doubting wrong - and I'm quite happy to be proved wrong if I've called it wrong.

I find it funny reading that people are saying I am not the same person!

I made more a statement because of the personal messages I received since I've been gone, asking me where I am!

Well as they say "The proof is in the pudding" :)

I will be back with news when I have it and make you all feel very silly :)

How about you all buy me a drink when I prove you wrong? Deal?

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
