Not sure Gerrard will ever get another chance to win the title ;)

I'm not thinking it's going to happen, but then again at this moment in time there's no particular reason to think that Liverpool couldn't push on and do better next time around.

In theory Liverpool have an easier job of tightening up their play than City, and arguably Chelsea too - because a better defence should in theory slot into place without having too much negative effect elsewhere easier than a new striker (Chelsea), or an all-round upgrade (City).

Probably won't pan out that like that tho. :)

that's assuming Suarez isn't off to Real Madrid next season of course. That could horribly mess up Liverpool trying to replace him.

that was one of the reasons why I very deliberately included "at this moment in time".

As I also said: Probably won't pan out that like that tho.

    • 1000% agree with this. I was there last night, ridiculous how good he was.
    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
