Who's not going to see the Stones?

I've made my official decision today that I'm going to see the Bootleg Beatles instead.

Probably not me. I'm going to be at the main stage for Primal and The Screams, then I might either head off to Public Enemy of Fuck Buttons. Alternatively, I might just head over to Sonic and see Prince Fatty followed by Goat.

Haven't decided yet.

I'm not and neither is my (by then) wife.

I do like a good number of Stones tunes but it really just doesn't appeal to me. We also tend to see acts we are currently fans of or who we have just recently discovered and believe we will be fans of in the future.

Our cats are called Chase and Status so I'll let you guys guess where we will be.

Whilst I would prefer not to be there (saw them in 1982 at Roundhey Park and they were good) I'm taking a virgin with me who will probably want to be there. Hopefully zi can get "alternative" so whilst there in body, perhaps not there in my mind

Haven't decided between them and Public Enemy yet. I also plan on seeing the Family Stone too. I could technically see a bit of the stones, a bit of public enemy then all of the Family Stone, but I'm not sure yet.

I don't mind the Stones, but the likely size of the crowd is putting me off. It'll be a game time decision methinks.

I really want to see the stones but all three of the other people I'm going with are insisting on watching Chase and Status. Even after me explaining that C&S will be at EVERY SINGLE festival we go to for the next 20 years, they wont budge.

I will be watching the first hour of the stones.

no chance for me and probably not for the vast majority of people there under 30 i'd say

they will undoubtedly draw an utterly enormous crowd tho.

out of our crew of about 15 i would guess no more than 5 will go. having said that if they draw around a third of people onsite that will easily get them over the 60,000 mark

I kind of want to see them, but I really don't want to watch all two and quarter hours of them... So I think I'll see the first hour or so then head over to see Fuck Buttons. Although if I'm pissed I might end up staggering over to the Bootleg Beatles instead - it seems quite delicious irony to choose them over the Stones!

Sorry, i've got to go and watch one of the greatest influential bands of all time, i wasn't around in the sixties to appreciate them, they've never ever been to glastobury and will never again. I can see any up n coming band ANY time, who'll probably wont last last anyway!!! The stones have stood the test of time and been with me through many a tear n smile, they deserve to be watched, even if they sound poor or not.

I'm not, I'm not really sure who I will see instead. The idea of standing at the back of the pyramid field to watch it on a big screen doesn't really appeal.

If it were relatively hassle-free I would go for the curiosity alone. But it's quite obviously going to be at the ridiculous end of hassledom, perhaps even dangerously crowded. Not appealing in the slightest.

To each their own and all that, but it does seem a bit odd to go see the fake Beatles instead of the actual Stones though.

I do want to see them but I just think it'll be more hassle then it's worth.

I don't want to stand for 90 minutes waiting. I don't want to be one of the many undoubtedly flocking to the field 30 minutes before. I don't want to be pushed around after an hour whilst those who went just so they could say they saw the Stones force their way out.

In short, it will be fucking unbearable. Public Enemy it is.
