Bransons specialised speed boat crossing was less but took him two attempts and didn't qualify for the blue riband record as it wasn't a passenger craft.

Having a ship available in the right place at the right time to make the crossing might be the problem. Most fast pleasure boats wouldn't have the range.

I read part of a newspaper article yesterday where Mumford & Sons were described as 'The Wurzels with a degree'. Bit unfair on The Wurzels but it made me chuckle a bit.

Well I just had a quick look at their website (uurgh) and they're still listing upcoming shows (with tickets on sale where appropriate), the first of which is Glastonbury

Couldn't help thinking that any number of people from this forum could have posted this comment from their news thread:
