Just been confirmed they will be headlining glasto. Maybe he won't be there for bonaroo, but will be for glasto

What were you wishing on anyway, he's a bassist! Anyway this is gonna attract more attention to mumford's set if anything!

In this article says they will still be playing glastonbury

The band revealed the news on their website, saying he had been feeling unwell for a few days.

"Yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment," his band members wrote.

"The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation."

However, they said Ted is receiving excellent care and they are being assured he will recover quickly from the surgery.

Mumford & Sons are currently on tour in North America and have had to postpone three upcoming shows in Texas and New Orleans.

They said in their statement they have no plans to cancel or postpone any other shows on the current tour.

The Grammy and Brit award winning folk group also have a number of big UK shows coming up.

They are headlining Glastonbury festival later this month and playing at the Olympic Park in London on 6 July with Vampire Weekend and Ben Howard supporting them.

But they must have had a short list, obviously after Mumford got bumped up, there was always a risk of Jagger pulling out of the deal so there might be another stand by.

Probably haven't got anyone else on a short list, but I reckon they'll just bump another band up at this late stage. Primal have headlined Other Stage before so they could be Pyramid headline material?

Absolutely. If you are indeed human.

Im still convinced you are actually a small puddle of highly reactive primordial ooze, made up of basic unicellular organisms moving randomly throughout the internet and therefore unable to attend social gatherings. In the traditional sense anyway.
