Why has this been downvoted as well..?

The whole 'voting' thing is such a mess, way too many votes on who says things rather than what they're saying, ugh

i haven't been to V for about a decade, but back then it always had "special guests" and I'm pretty sure they were always on the Main.

Thank fuck.

I meant when you said you were at the back - I thought last year was your first time there

Just seen I made a typing mistake, I meant to say I wish I was at the back, but it came out as I was I was at the back :P my fault for not reading before I press post

Why do people think Rudimental will play main? Sunset spot on the same chav stage where they were last year is perfect for them, surely.

Why would Alesso play above Elbow, and why would he be sandwiched between Elbow and the Manics? Why would they clash singer-songwriter Tom Odell with singer-songwriter Lily Allen? And, most importantly, where are Chic? :P

Crowd was huge for Rudimental, and they have won a BRIT award so I think they deserve a higher spot, main stage is good for them.

Alesso wouldnt be above Elbow, he would be playing below them.

Yes, the crowd was huge for Rudimental, but the crowd was huge for Rudimental on the chav stage, so that is where they should stay. Kaiser Chiefs have won three times as many Brits as Rudimental, so what.

Not in the last year they havent. They played 3rd at highest didnt they, I doubt Rudimental will get that high. Rudimental deserve to be on main stage IMO, and I think they will or at the very least sub 2nd stage, same place as Bastille just opposite day

meant the Manics

I dont know tbh then, Alesso is an act I moved around alot in my clashfinder, he is in bigger writing and higher on the poster than Manics, that might mean something

Also, at T in the Park it looks like Alesso will be higher than Manics. Suppose its to do with Alesso being more current than Manics

Sorry, if you're that keen on Disclosure you could consider T in the Park, similar lineup to V and they're playing there

T looks great! But yeah it is the distance putting me off.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.

    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
