I like it here. I saw Lou Rhodes there in 2010, caught the end of her set. Then stayed to watch a guy called John SMith, just him and his guitar, a very talented man indeed.

They serve a bloody lovely g&t too :)

What time is the Bimble Inn normally open til? I want late night entertainment but I don't really get on with dance music!

Also, how's the Crow's Nest as a late night hangout?

Yes you can walk in and out of bars with a can or whatever but If your in one of the smaller bars I would buy a pint when that can ran out,I wouldn't start cracking can after can,its only polite but I'm sure people do.

sorry but you cant walk in and take over space at a bar counter or a table - if you have a can/cup or whatever you should drink this before you enter any bar.
Would you walk into your local with a can of beer ? the odds are Security will pull you up .
That bar space costs a fortune so its only available to paying customers.

one post you said ' you can walk in and out of bars with a can or whatever ' now you claim its a beer cup
sorry but I expect I have more experience than you having worked in the bars 24 years -
boring rules from the outside world ' do apply '
You would not have a clue which bar operator was running which bar - each of which has paid a huge amount of money
Security should spot you as you try to walk in and they will tell you to go away -
you may not like it but that is the rules - drink what you buy in one bar and then enter another bar not carrying anything.
what is wrong with that ?
Most people would never even try to do it - at one time all the bars had one operator but that is not the case any more so a Pint bought in one bar should be drunk in that bar
