Night view from the Ribbon Tower from 2011. Pyramid stage is near the centre just under a quarter of the way down from the top. Same view as the original poster but with a shorter lens (52mm). Not the best quality as it was hand held at night and I needed to use 3600 iSO to avoid camera shake, but it came out okay.

I have a confession to make. I actually walked out about 1 minute into the voting, so don't actually know who won. I had predicted it to be Norway. Thought it would be them or Greece. Will no doubt soon find out whether I was right or wrong.

I took the photo I posted earlier in this thread at about half past midnight from the top of the tower. I don't think it's is open all night though.

you can definitely keep going up the ribbon tower all night if you want to.
