Dude, Sam Duckworth (Get Cape) just came on the playlist much to my excitement, but cant see him on the line up - do you know where is he playing? I presume its with Bragg on the Leftfield...But cant see for sure. Again, great work on this, its quality

Checked recent setlists for everyone playing West Holts: updated tracks for Deltron 3030, Vintage Trouble, M.I.A., Reverend Peyton, Goldfrapp and The Lee Thompson Ska Orchestra on Glasto 2014.

Also added the new Jungle single, and replaced the Jonny Greenwood tracks with Steve Reich's Music for Musicians and Electric Counterpoint as that's what he and the London Sinfonietta are going to be playing (according to the latter's website).

Checked recent setlists for all John Peel stage acts: new/updated tracks for Money for Rope, Temples, Polica, Wild Beasts, Chvrches, Lykke Li, Kaiser Chiefs, Fat White Family, Wolf Alice, Clean Bandit, Little Dragon, MGMT, Darlia, Brian Jonestown, London Grammar (well, tribute acts which annoyingly is as close as you can get on Spotify) on Glasto 2014.

Robin, even if you lose your job because you currently spend all your time updating the playlist, in the future you'll be able to live on our love and gratitude ;)

Ha ha, cheers clarkete! Happily I am self employed and not about to sack myself, but I appreciate the sentiment! Anyway it's only the odd hour or so, here and there...

In what will probably be the last update, checked recent setlists for everyone playing the Acoustic, new/updated tracks for James Bay, Danny & the Champions of the World, Holly Williams, The Blues Band, Tinariwen, Ethan Johns, Thea Gilmore, John Illsley, Kacey Musgraves (more about her than I thought) and the Henry Girls on Glasto 2014.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just wanted to say how useful this turned out to be and how much it improved my Glasto weekend. On Friday I implemented my Wet Weather Plan, which was basically to stick to the Acoustic and Williams Green stages, with the occasional trip to West Holts. Having checked out the bands for the all 3 days on those stages I was able to make informed choices and skip the stuff I didn't like the sound of. Friday turned out to be one of my most intensive band watching days ever at Glasto. Thanks so much BSR!

    • Thanks man for sharing your thoughts. I would say i generally agree with you and do agree people close to the podium should position themselves further back if they want to have full conversations and apparently are not interested in the music; to fair it is mind boggling these people are even there as chatting gets so much easier in the back field. That said i did not really have the same experience as you, front rows for example at MBV, Men I trust, Big Thief, NewDad, Slowdive, where really into the music.    yes i BBK is really high on our list but we just realized it is next year 25 years of Primavera so perhaps we do one more.
    • When does the Thursday lineup get announced? I see they had Moonchild Sanelly and Young Knives last year, would be cool to get something along those lines again.
    • Where did you see this?
    • No idea how it'll work in a festival setting but really enjoying Prewn at the moment.
    • Lineup announced, with the dates having been pushed back to 12th and 13th September. Tickets on sale tomorrow 8:30am.   12th September Chaka Khan Jack Savoretti Lulu Emeli Sande Texas ABC The Script   13th September Simple Minds Deacon Blue Level 42 Appleton Blue James Blunt Cast   I think it’s a pretty weak lineup compared to previous years to be honest - and think it’s quite lazy they’ve gone down the Scottish route so much (not sure Simple Minds would be classed as a headliner elsewhere in the UK).
