The Summary:

Bring your wellies and your sunglasses, the festival itself still possibly drier than average, but pre festival rain could make ground underfoot wet and cause some mud on site, but probably without actually mud bath conditions.

I will only get interested properly when the we start to get convergence of weather forecasts

I feel we are getting close, most forecasts ares suggesting reasonably cool but no means cold, cloudy weather with the occasional shower. But not a mud bath

I would be a very happy man with that

Just no mud please

What is going on with the weather?! Just checked my Met Office App and forecast for next 5 days down here in SW has changed much for the better overnight :)

Long-predicted heavy r**n showers have gone and it's warming up though cloudy!

Next question - 'when will those clouds all disappear?'

WeatherPro (Meteogroup) is hedging their bets on averages at the moment, cloudy, 17-18C, very little (if any) rain. Would prefer to add 10C onto the temps but I'll sacrifice heat if it means it's dry.

The forecasts do seem to have perked up overnight - I'm feeling even more optimistic today. Wondering if Jackone's optimism has grown - I've felt like it's waned a bit recently. Hoping it's perked up. Is Sunday the first day of the week ... if so, it's next weeeeekk!!!!

I'm no forecaster but the overnight 00z gfs charts put a big area of low pressure over the UK for the whole festival, with a lot of rain. Although this is the op run which is a massive outlier in the ensembles.

    • Are we still expecting Anna Von Hausswolff?  I recall seeing recently that she'd cancelled some tour dates due to illness
    • Hey everyone! My friend and I are heading over from Sweden to Tramlines this summer. We had our eyes on a bunch of different festivals in the UK, but since most of them sold out before we even knew if we’d be able to make the trip, we finally settled on Tramlines. Why Tramlines, you might ask? Well, because we’re absolutely crazy about British music, and finding a festival like this (where you also don’t have to camp, a huge plus) made it impossible not to buy a ticket. The fact that I’ll also get to see The Enemy after beeing a fan for 19 years didn’t hurt either.   Since the app doesn’t work over here… is the Clashfinder schedule 100% accurate? What’s the venue like, and what does the map look like? Which sides of the stages are best to stand on? How long does it take to walk between stages? What are the prices usually for food and drinks? Is it easy to get to the festival from town? And is it easy to get back into town? Is it allowed to walk around with a beer anywhere in the venue, or are there those stupid fenced-off bar areas? As you can tell, I need all kinds of info, so please share your best tips and tricks to make this the best festival experience possible.  I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! 😃
    • A whole year of this!  What a time to be alive! This is going to be an incredible playlist.
    • Sorry matey.  Always a nightmare when you have a plan and something scuppers it.   Happy myself, fills a nice little gap for me. Lucky so far really.     I’d have preferred an alternative too to break up the 21 pilot set but shan’t complain
