I've been trying to get into The Cohen over the last few weeks.

I think I may be getting there but he's not exactly grabbing hold of me.

I prefer the stuff where his voice has dropped a few octaves - surely the more recent recordings but... I don't know... it's all a bit, dare I say, dull.

Better than Kraftwerk though.

Sadly, I think for contractual reasons, the BBC weren't able to show Cohen's magnificent Glasto performance. Would be great if he were able to return. Has to be one of my all-time magical Glasto performances.

Yeah for sound it's ok, you don't get much of a view but if they are offering them as cheap tickets they are fine. (It gets to me when Bands offer them at full price 50/60 quid..)

(EDIT: They are rather high, might not be great if you do have a fear as they are fairly steep with it to.)

30 quid you say for the cheap seats for Neil Young, I was tempted anyway but was thinking its on the expensive side...30 quid might just do it! (What would be even better is later production seats to come out, at that price just behind the stage...Muse done that, I had front row seats behind them for 30 quid but I guess Neil would go for a more traditional stage set up?)

I haven't got one. I really don't know if I'd be able to get that high. Physically speaking! I had seats in the second from back row at Manchester MEN before and that was terrifying. Plus, I'd have to go on my own and I wouldnt want whoever was sat next to me to feel awkward cos I was being a big shandypants!!!

I'll keep an eye on it though and if I can afford lower tier and there are some nearer the time (Unlikely I know) then we'll see.

Of course if he does Glasto again then we'll all be ok!

    • Its massively bonkers the cost now amd it means missing out on some gigs but buying into only promotes it. Im more annoyed at gigs that are cheap that I have to resist as I'm far too tired after work.
    • Yeah I mean first time seeing them sure, I was the same in 2010. Their arena tour got a bit boring, it was like just get on with it. Feeder being in a tent was silly really, there is a difference between being around 4th down on main stage snd then moving that crowd into a tent.

    • I think they'll be playing in a suspended platform, you can see it in their instagram, they've done that before in Lisbon   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZKSRZ1qIDe/   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DP6J4KIjMAG/
