Well they failed on the email address. The glastonbury.co.uk domain they've faked for Emily's email has nothing to do with the festival, its used by the not-for-profit company that gives tourist information on the town and helps connect glastonbury charities, businesses and groups.

Not a chance, its well documented Bowie is no more, he's quite happy living a normal life as David Jones these days. I hear the Olympics tried to get him for the opening ceremony but he flat out refused. Id highly doubt such a sensitive email like that would be leaked

If (And its a massive if) he did headline id be in heaven, his set in 2000 is still my favourite Glastonbury moment

Seen a few pictures of him last month, the papers said he looked pale and unwell. Persoanlly I thought he looked ok, it was more just a case of old age creeping in - although there has always been rumours about his ill health for years

Needs more surgery, so his can look all out of proportion and "young". Heaven forbid just looking your age and being a celebrity!

You've got to respect him for not flogging his old songs until his deathbed for a couple million steadily getting worse and worse , as much as I'd like the chance to see him live.

    • You do get some weird swings here and there, so... Cypress Hill?
    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
