someone else got mine but gutted that my friends won't be going there's the resale but that was pretty hopeless last time. i hit a registration page at 8.50 and even made it to entering card details but then timed out....

Obviously still got a chance with the resales, but didn't feel I ever got close to getting onto a page.

Seems like it's just a random lottery. Last time I remember a queue that seemed to sit for ages and eventually load to ticket page.

Feeling very very sorry for the people who missed out this year, I know how I would be feeling right now. :-( Hope you all manage to bag one in the spring resale, or any sneaky resales which may pop up in the near future.

Don't panic...we had this last time and getting tickets in the resale ended up being quite easy so keep the faith and my sympathies to anyone who wasn't successful today

Ive got a ticket, my first time at glastonbury and Im going to make the most of it now i know what its like to get tickets! There is no way of knowing if your going to get a ticket....Im over the moon!

Every year See is a farce. I understand the load is massive but the fact that a good portion of the people who got tickets on here seem to have had to mess around with hosts files is so bad. Really terrible.

Don't give up if you were unlucky. We managed to get tickets this year, but was in your position last year. I was surprised at how easy it was to get tickets in the resale.

Probably doesn't make you feel any better at this point in time, but there is still hope!

didn't make it this time. Ah well, fingers crossed for the re-sale, and congrats to those who managed it.

Hopefully they'll hold back on any Rolling Stones announcement until after resale otherwise that day will be a nightmare... or even better, 3 disappointing headliners would be great in terms of ticket refunds.

Genuinely devastated to miss out on tickets, i got myself lost in files and folders trying to do this 'back door' thing. It just wasn't to be it seems Always the resale i suppose.....

Hard luck to those that missed out, and good luck in the resales. Have got tickets for 2 of my 5 Glastonburys in resales, so there is still hope.

Seven people trying for four tickets - 8 computers, 12 phones and finally made it thanks to Drewstrat.

So sorry for those who weren't lucky.

This year it will be a different dynamic for our group. Two of our five regulars won't be going because they've got a holiday in Australia but another of the gang will be bringing his wife so it will be three men and one woman instead of five men.

Until now I've not really allowed myself to get too excited about Glasto in case of disappointment but now I can start Glastobating again.

Next comes the worry in April about getting a Campervan Field ticket.

One tip to those who weren't lucky, one year the Western Daily Press - the morning newpaper published in Bristol ran a competition to enable people to buy tickets. If you won the competition it didn't get you a ticket, just the right to buy one, but there are all sorts of little things like that to look out for as well as the main resale.

For all those who didn't get tickets I hope you get them in the resales, I know I would also be gutted had I missed out.

I had IE, Chrome, Safari and Firefox all running and the only one that got in, and did it several times, was Firefox. Thank you Firefox

I got through the old fashined way refreshing the link from the website. I'm not sticking up for see but their site must get some amount of hits and sadly there's always going to be those who miss out. Happened to our group in 2011 but everyone who wanted to go managed to get in resales.
