I doubted that, so checked. According to wikipedia

  • CM Punk American born WWE superstar and an avid practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu studying under Rener Gracie.[85] After earning a white belt at some point prior to February 2012, he refused to apply for belt promotions, claiming to be a "white belt for life" in 2014.[86]

If he earned a white belt some time prior to 2012, theres no way he would be any more than a blue or a purple belt even if he did apply for grading, the minimum time frame with a full training schedule to reach black is 8-10 years.

My bad,had no idea took that long to obtain a black belt.

From a Kayfabe POV, it should have been Lesnar. Bryan would have a shout too purely for what happened from January to when he had to relinquish the title. Rollins would have been my choice too, but heels never win these rigged votes anyway ;)

ICW starts off kind of disappointing. And then you hit Damo and Grado vs. Sha Samuels and Martin Stone and from that point, it's alllllll good. Plus, Joe Coffey vs. Liam Thomson is a genuine MOTYC for any promotion and probably one of the best matches in ICW history.

Bought tickets last minute for it and I was really surprised with the event as a whole, it wasn't a big one so I wasn't surprised by the slow start but it was still a solid event and better than most WWE PPV's these days. Also the appearance by Hardcore Holly was amazing he looked great in ring too against Renfrew. If anything the match of the night was the 4 way with Kenny Williams, Paul London and the Bucky Boys. Even though as a loyal Joe Hendry supporter I can't say that Kenny Williams isn't an absolute machine in the ring. Drew again killed it in the main event, nice to see Jester away for a bit just now but could possibly see him coming in during the Square Go or Barramania.

Also I skipped through it on the on demand and saw myself when I got a hug from Paul London haha!

I'll put NXT in spoilers as I'm sure some haven't watched yet as its on Sky Sports on Sunday.

INXT is just on another level. Zayn/Neville put on an all time classic. Great storytelling and they got plenty of time which helped. I think it's my MOTY.

Everything clicked last night, from the opening of the show with the debut of Kevin Owens to the final seconds of it when he turned heel.

Divas match was amazing

Couldn't watch TLC has had work early today so read the results, sounds very predictable. The Ziggler match sounded epic though?

Personally, hope the fans turn against Reigns. It's so forced it's boring. We all know he's gunna win the Rumble as well.Boring.

Ziggler/Harper was a bit more than okay. It was fucking great. Both guys properly busted their guts, and their bodies showed the marks of it.

The PPV was doing well up until the end of Rollins/Cena, which I thought was a lot of fun. I could accept a couple of shitters after that if the main event delivered, but ultimately, it didn't and the show wound up just getting shit.

Ziggler seems to be throwing himself all over the place now just for the sake of it, was doing it on raw too.

Although I did enjoy the ladder match, wasn't on the levels of Jeff Hardy v Austin Aeries ladder match in TNA about a year ago, that was a classic ladder match had real ring psychology, this was more a spot fest.
