I've watched the ending to Taker/Lesnar over and over again. What a moment.

Theres a few waves of shock. Firstly its disbelief and then after about 5 seconds it turns into a very loud screaming sort of shock. Crazy reaction. Never seen anything like it.

I managed to get to last night without seeing any spoilers for Wrestlemania so I watched it knowing Warrior was dead, which was weird, but nothing else.

And wow. Undertaker losing to Lesnar, that was a turn up. Glad it happened at WM30 though, seemed right. Undertaker is done, he looked like a shadow of his former self.

I really enjoyed the whole show, apart from the horrible backstage bit with Mean Gene and Hogan etc... that was pretty cringey.

I was absolutely shocked and furious when it first happened. Didn't help I was very drunk.

Still think it would have been better going to a younger person but will see how this benefits Brock. As people said at the end of the day it was Taker decision. Out of all live events I have seen that was the biggest 'holy shit' moment. Nobody seen it coming.

I think WWE right now is best it has been in a long time right now. Ironic it got amazing when Punk left.

Not going to get ahead of myself as it usually always dies down and has it's weak patch between May and June.

Younger like who? Bryan?! That would've nullified over 20 years of WWE and Wrestlemania history.

Lesnar is the most credible person. Hes proven. And Taker is a huge boxing and UFC fan. Whos to say Reigns or Wyatt will last if he had've lost to them?

When the Beeb and mainstream media outlets are reporting on his loss and concussion you know its a good move for all. Last time I remember such a mainstream interest was Austin/Tyson.

Either way though hes done. Apart from the odd Undertaker moment - old school, tombstone or a sit up here and there - hes done absolutely nothing for a few Wrestlemanias now. The opponents have completely carried him.

I remember reading about his back injuries in the mags since the very early days in WWE. 20 years ago! Tough, tough bastard but time waits for no man.

Maybe not younger but someone other than Lesnar. My main problem is that Lesnar is part time and only works about 15 dates a year. With or without ending the streak he is still regarded a legit bad ass. I just see it going to waste by letting him end it.

The best person to end it would have been John Cena. Would give him even more heat and finally turn him heel. I know this would never happen but that is how I would have booked it. He would be more hated than ever and just like Lesnar nobody would have seen it coming.

Would have been too early for Reigns or Wyatt.

Taker has offered "the break" to Cena before apparently but Cena/WWE said no. Lots of Taker fans stop buying Cena merch! No sir.

The win legitimises Lesnar and makes him top dog. Top dog in the real sense. Not in the Bryan sense. Theres almost a split now between the fluffy stuff with Bryan and the more serious stuff to come with Reigns, Wyatt and apparently Cesaro.

So Lesnar, Cesaro, Reigns, Wyatt and one or two more feuding over the next while. Pretty good.

Will be interesting to see the terms of Lesnars new contract. If theres a title run in there it'll have to be a full time schedule. Or close to it.

The win legitimises Lesnar, sure. But does he need it? Probably not. Especially since that's him now walking off into the sunset while Heyman is given Cesaro in the meantime.

Lesnar is VERY unlikely to change his schedule btw. He's paid a lot of money for not much work. The ball is pretty much in his court and Mania shows just how much WWE want him around. Would appear they need him more than he needs them. And that's true. The UFC door is open to Lesnar should he ever decide that he's had enough.

I'd say Brock Lesnar is unlikely to be in the title picture in a full time scenario, but I do see him winning the title in the future.

If Lesnar hadn't lost to Cena last year he wouldn't need it, but that lose hurt him BAD IMO. This has now put him with a huge victory.

Cena should have never have beat Lesnar ever. Lesnar beat him to a pulp for 30 mins then Cena all of a sudden hit a AA and won, bullshit.

He looked like an absolute beast for 20 minutes against Cena. He left that match with a great aura about him, even in defeat.

The Triple H matches did much more harm than that one, where HHH was made out to be as good as Lesnar in almost every aspect. Thankfully the Punk match repaired that a fair bit.

EDIT: Oh, and that's Observer confirming Sting's signing. He'll definitely be on screen but it's unclear on what he's going to be doing with The Undertaker's career up in the air.

Agree yeah. Thats why I think Lesnars new contract must have a title run in it or at least a load more appearances. To beat Taker and then toddle off for the unforeseeable future is madness.

Looks like, for once, The Undertaker wasn't actually a fan of losing the streak and had to be talked around to the idea. Vince McMahon was the one who made the decision.

Lots of people not happy with the move backstage, but won't speak out on it. Which is understandable really. Personally, in hindsight, I can see why they did it, given the reactions and the coverage that it's been getting. Even The Daily Show had a wee something about it.

I think the PS3 might need a higher version of Adobe Flash Player. Needs to be noted not much can be done about this.

AJ Styles as the Bullet Club leader is a big move for him and NJPW. A regular NJPW slot basically means he's made for now.

ha ha ha ha ha

TNA ripping off the Bryan story with the worse candidate.

How exactly are they ripping it off?

Im not pro EY winning the title, but its NOTHING like the DB story at all. Its just yet another talent being pushed to the title to lose it to yet someone else.

In the past 3 years theres been 13 holders of the TNA Title, only Bully Ray has held it twice.

Not in order but Sting, Angle, Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, James Storm, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles, Mr Anderson, Magnus and now Eric Young.

Why not establish talent as world champion material instead of keep swapping the belt around like its pass the parcel. TNA's stupid booking has made the title worthless and for the first time in long, long while Raw is a much better show than Impact.

Why did Sabin get given the title last year? He had it for 2 weeks, lost it back to Bully and then disappeared back to midcard and looks like he's now leaving the company. Storm, Roode or Aries would be better picks as champions, EY is NOT a world champion. He never will be, A stupid booking choice. Aries should have stayed face and won the title. oh well. I see Aries returned in the spoilers and lost to MVP. Great work.....

    • I did get a little amusement at the idea that Infantino was upset Trump stood him up for the US opener last night given how hard he's been trying to get in his good books.   Tbf, I thought the Canadian roar at their equaliser was decent volume. Or maybe I just had my phone at a higher volume for it when I watched the highlights this morning.
    • Wonder if they’d ever headline Glasto again.  Would be very different a 2nd time around I reckon.
    • My mate is there now. She enjoyed them a lot but had never seen them before. Apparently there was an injury in the crowd near the end so took about 10 or so minutes to sort out. Hope the person is alright.    Feeder apparently drew a ridiculously huge crowd on the third stage.
    • This was never a surprise.   I'm hoping USA meet and lose to Iran in round of 16, just to really wind up Trump.
