Raw was pretty awful. Especially the ending, lets just have everyone from the two main matches come out and brawl in the ring. Just like before the royal rumble lets have everyone brawl in the ring.

Its just boring, predictable booking.

Sheamus and Orton were having a decent match prior to that. The Shield coming out and attacking Sheamus made NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.

Neither did Wyatt Family coming out squaring up the The Shield early on to back to only to come out later, do the same thing but this time fight cus, you know, its an hour later now, and the show is ending...

And Nash moans about TNA's booking.

I despise the man to be honest. Hypocritical w*nker. At least now he doesn't work for one promotion, he might be honest for a change.

I know this sounds bad, but reading about Mabel, it's kind of refreshing to see someone from the 90s/00s who isn't dying from drug related stuff, and you can be fairly confident that it had nothing to do with it.

MOM were great. Plus, Big Daddy V squashing folk in ECW was certainly a guilty pleasure.

He was 43 wasn't he not 42?

Mable was on my first ever WWE show that I went to in 1994, he wrestled IRS, to be fair I think I was pleasently surprised with the match, as I still remember it.

I thought MOM pretty much sucked to be honest but liked him when he became King Mable, they just didn't do enough with that. His match with Nash at Summerslam is possibly the worst main event in Summerslam history however. But I put that down to Nash more than Mable.

Am I right in that he never went to WCW? I don't remember him being there. Stayed loyal to WWE I believe although he was in and out the company.

Viscera was effective enough in the short term, but once the Ministry was over there was no point, but I really liked the Big Daddy V gimmick. He defiantly was the big daddy for our generation.

43 is no age tho... RIP dude.

Interesting reading the comments from other wrestlers, Matt Hardy said he and Jeff were 2 of the thrownmen that carried King Mable around. Didn't think they were knocking around WWE that early. Remember them on Shotgun in 97, thought that was the earliest they were around.

I thought MOM was the best use of Mable. He was rancid as a singles wrestler when put in for any length of time, but I thought he and Mo always looked impressive. The match at Summerslam was definitely down to Mable. Diesel was a more than competent big man, especially back then. Make no mistake. Mable as a singles wrestler was absolutely shit and I'd have him up there with the very worst.

As for tag wrestlers, I'd put him in a pretty lofty position. A guy who understood the art.

Well the Shield verus Wyatt's was match of the night and the Chamber was good but I was quite drunk by that point.

I loved that the fans were booing Batista out of the building and cheering Del Rio.

If Bryan isn't in the main event at Wrestlemania there will be a riot and I can see the fans cheering Orton over Batista obviously winning.

I think there is a fine line between the people we cheer for winning but booking the heel to win to keep us hooked as we want the pay off but these days it just seems stupid the way that they do it.It's embarrassing the way that the commentator's have to call the audience strange.Wrestlemania has to be the pay off but in Bryan's case I can see him against Kane now and the title match having no significance.

whichever one of the two idiots at the top thought bringing back batista to headline wrestlemania was a great idea needs to re-evaluate their life, very quickly.

lets be honest whoever he faces (any match), will have to carry him through the match. he did shit all last night against del rio and was gasping for air after it. was the first time in a while that i had smiled at how del rio performed and actually wanted him to win. the crowd burying it though, quality.

as for the rest:

preshow match - was alright considering its just rushed.

langston (oh sorry its just big e now) vs swagger - decent match, although big e could have sold the first ankle lock a bit better when getting up.

tag match - good match, shit ending.

titus / d young - waste of time really.

shield vs wyatts - 12/10 (need i say more?). implications to be seen tonight i think - ambrose disappeared off the map -- really think it could have only been topped if it was in the chamber itself. although the people who shone were rollins & luke harper.

batista / del rio - 2/10 for batista, he clearly hasn't got what he once had, del rio 8/10 for trying to salvage a crap situation.

diva match - just filler, not that good.

EC match - some good spots, made cesaro look strong. 2nd best match of the night, but the ending was far too predictable, with all the previous rumours for cena/wyatt that was always going to happen to set up the match at wm, but as soon as kane appeared then got "knocked out" inside the chamber, was always going to end one way.

decent show, shit ending - no surprise there though. how many more times will they try and screw bryan is beyond all of us i'm sure. if they don't put him in the title match then i can really see the wm card looking a bit crap at the top.

anyway really want to see shield/wyatts go at it again, if they don't do it after how the crowd was during their match, then they've missed a trick, or could have done it sooner.

apologies for the post being long - needed to post this somewhere ;)

Are people just behind Swagger and Cesaro in general? Can't imagine ever getting behind Swagger. As for the opener, highly enjoyable stuff between the two and my favourite Big E match so far, and an impressive showing for him as well. Good hot crowd for it as well.

Still a bit surreal seeing the New Age Outlaws looking in such good nick as the tag champs in 2014. There's a bit of a confusing moment here, as the Usos go for dives, and the Outlaws move, and the Usos have a moan about that in the direction of the Outlaws. What were they saying?
"You should have just stood there and took the dives dammit!"
Anyways, 2 for 2 for good matches on the show. Two very good teams in there though, so didn't surprise me like the opener did.

I'd prefer the fans to wait until they have a reason to shit on a match before they do so. Because they got such a reason with Titus/Young. Incredibly some fans try and get behind this shitfest at one point.

The Shield vs. The Wyatts. Firstly, the day that six guys staring at each other is "awesome" is the day I stop watching, because there'd have to be a serious fucking drop in standards. Expectations were rightly high though. This was pretty special. My expectations were pretty high and I was still stunned by how much fun this was. The Reigns comeback sucked me right in, and the ending sucked the life out of me, but it was brilliantly done as The Wyatts took them out one by one by the end. Stunning.

Following that was always going to be a difficult task, but AJ and Cameron were clearly never up for the task. The only fun bits were when they mocked each other.

The Bad News Barrett stuff was fun all night, but the WWE Network one was the best. It's the #BnB stamped on at the end that makes these segments for me. It's a cracking cherry on the cake.

I always enjoy watching Del Rio. Especially when he ups the aggression like he did here. Reminiscent of the match with Dolph Ziggler where he attacked the head. Still a pretty average match though. Didn't buy into the ADR win at all and that didn't help.

The lack of reactions Christian gets always amuses me. Babyface? Who cares. New heel turn? Who cares. There was a wealth of talent in this so this was actually the match I was looking forward to the most. I don't think it was as good as Shield/Wyatts, but it certainly wasn't disappointing. Don't think there was anyone who didn't look great at least at some point in this one. Cesaro had the best showing I reckon. Also, thought it was funny that the announcer sounded gutted he was out as well. The ending sequence with Bryan and Orton was hot as hell which helped close it well.

So aye, I highly enjoyed this show.

its mainly cesaro, but because he is aligned with swagger it brings him up as well.

crowd was hot almost all the night, a few dips but you can probably expect that from time to time.

as for christian, don't think he's been relevant for a few years now, ever since edge had to retire he's lost most of his following.

doesn't help that he disappears for months on end then comes back for "ONE MORE MATCH"

it was always going to get heat from the crowd, its just in the build up you could see what was going to happen which annoyed people as a few people guessed it would happen.

don't get me wrong, great match, they could have ended it slightly differently with a swerve that absolutely no one would have seen coming, which produced the same result.

Somebody on here called cesaro being a future big hitter on here a while ago before he got put into the chamber which was a good shout. At that time i actually thought he was behind the likes of ziggler, swagger and sandow.

He has come on really well recently. I really think they have a good future going forward now with big e, reigns, cesaro, Bryan all coming through. Can't wait for them to start edging out cena and Batista. Orton is good but it is getting boring now with him being a heel, and headlining every PPV. Still have stars in the background like HHH, the rock and taker who can perform when called upon.

Cesaro has been brilliant since he first arrived. WWE haven't been booking him properly the last year but things are currently looking good. Not going to get ahead of myself though because I have said things are 'looking good' before regarding two other wrestlers, Dolph Ziggler and Damien Sandow and look what has happened to them. One was a world champion who is now low-midcard and the other was a MITB winner and they fucked it up.

Elimination Chamber was pretty good. The two matches I was watching it for both delivered so I can't complain. Shield/Wyatts brilliant as expected. Great to see 6 young talents constantly putting on quality matches every PPV. Ambrose to turn on Reigns tonight? I think something will happen.

Chamber match was really good. Very fast paced and entertaining. Got to agree with others about the ending with Kane. No problem with Orton winning as that was always the obvious plan and IF Bryan is going to win the title then let him wait another month until Wrestlemania. Got a feeling he will be up against HHH though.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Hogan. Most excited I have been for a RAW since the night after last year's Wrestlemania.

    • I did get a little amusement at the idea that Infantino was upset Trump stood him up for the US opener last night given how hard he's been trying to get in his good books.   Tbf, I thought the Canadian roar at their equaliser was decent volume. Or maybe I just had my phone at a higher volume for it when I watched the highlights this morning.
    • Wonder if they’d ever headline Glasto again.  Would be very different a 2nd time around I reckon.
    • My mate is there now. She enjoyed them a lot but had never seen them before. Apparently there was an injury in the crowd near the end so took about 10 or so minutes to sort out. Hope the person is alright.    Feeder apparently drew a ridiculously huge crowd on the third stage.
    • This was never a surprise.   I'm hoping USA meet and lose to Iran in round of 16, just to really wind up Trump.
    • Watched this this morning -  absolute brilliance -  live show is peaking
