I think it's hard to compare with other ppvs as its basically an advert for the next one.

I can't agree with the idea that Bryan was thrown under the bus. Sometimes the job you are given is to make your opponent look great, he did this while looking better than anyone else I have seen against Reigns.

I may be in the minority but in enjoyed sting v hhh. I like the fact they are keeping sting silent. This match could steal the show at wrestlemania.

I think Kidd and cesaro show more personality together then apart, so great decision to team them up. I hope they get a decent run together. Rusev is something different and I think his build has been good. In isolation the Barrett v Ambrose finish was poor but I have to assume its building somewhere else. I would rather a streetfight to a ladder match.

One moan is I think on wwe ppvs there's generally too many kick outs from people finishes. It's easy booking, but a bit lazy. I would prefer it meant something when it happened.

Agree on both counts.

No sympathy. I felt he came across as a complete dick in that interview, particularly the bit about ryback.

Yeah he really came across as bitter and unlikeable didn't he? Arrogant, patronising.

Paige v Nikki Bella

Cena v Rusev

Stardust v Goldust

Bryan and Sheamus (maybe not against each other) will be on the card too. They'll have to bump a few people by the looks of it! Busy.

That card sounds about right apart from it will be Paige v Nikki Bella, no way they're bringing in AJ to get the Mania payday with everything thats going on with Punk, wouldn't draw any extra fans so they won't do it.

11 matches in 4 hours, totally doable

It may be doable, but with all the filler involved, I would be surprised if they do it. As i said it doesnt seem consistnet with previous years. I cant see an NXT match (if on the show they will be in a battle royal), or 2 mid card single matches with ex partners. I certainly hope they dont fit all those matches in, as we would end up with too many short throwaway matches.

Good point well made. 11 matches is totally feasible, I agree. Miz vs. Mizdow would only be a short match, 3/4 minutes I reckon. The Divas won't get much time at all, added to that Gold/Stardust getting under ten minutes, you're left with a lot of time still.

I can't see the top three matches going 30mins+ as you would normally expect, what with Sting and Taker's ages. The main event will probably be around 20 minutes I think. Rollins vs. Orton and Cena vs. Rusev to be the longest matches of the night is what I'm going for.

I still think that Undertaker vs. Sting will happen at WM32. Have Wyatt defeat Taker this year, then the next night on RAW, Taker comes out to announce his retirement, saying that he has lost two in a row and let everyone down etc. Then have the lights go out and Sting appear in the ring. "You can't retire until you face me at WrestleMania" kind of thing. Have a staredown, and the WM32 graphic appear. A double retirement match in Taker's home state in front of 100,000 fans, which he will win, is the perfect way for these two icons to go out.

I think after the Rock/Cena WM near year long lead in they won't do that. People didn't give a shit by the time the match came around.

On face value, Taker/Wyatt is a really bad idea. Taker can only lose (surely?) making him look a bit shit really. A bit pathetic to be honest. And all it does is make Wyatt seem like hes having the last toke on the end of Brock Lesnars cigarette. Kicking Taker when hes down.

The Taker loss last year was purely to help gain crossover audience and regain a dormant audience with Lesnar for the network.

The match was so poor last year he obviously just wants to go out on a better note. Looks in decent shape mind you!

Taken yesterday.

Didnt Miz and Mizdow both say they wanted to be in the Battle Royal backstage on Raw? Stardust and Goldust might both be in that as well, so that might shorten the card down a little, gives the bigger matches a bit longer if they want it.

On the Taker front, it could be possible for Taker to win and still not make Wyatt look weak. If Taker wanted to give back to the business like Vince said, then surely thats done with the Brock loss. If Taker wasnt in the picture, Bryan could have faced Wyatt

Just being in a match with the Undertaker is putting Wyatt over. I suspect Undertaker wins, but Wyatt comes out looking stronger.

True, Id like to see Taker win for the feel good moment again, but the shock of a loss might not be as big of a shock as it was last year.

Ortons comeback was a bit of a let down, but suppose it makes people just wait for the turn

    • Didn't stay up for the S Korea Czech game, but entertaining highlights. Lots of very good chances created by S Korea with poor finishing.    Czechs definitely more in that game than S Africa were against Mexico, but Mexico S Korea looks tasty in the next round for that group.
    • I thought the first was absolutely clear, and while I didn't like the 2nd from the 1st angle, once there was another angle showing it to clearly be an intentional slap I didn't have an issue.   3rd felt harsh to me though, cynical foul but I'm not sure that'd be a red in the CL by 'denying a clear goalscoring opportunity'.
    • Gelli Haha and Ninajirachi were two of my highlights in Barcelona, so that must have been an insane couple of hours to enjoy!
    • looking for a ticket for today (friday the 12th); if anyone knows of anything... thx
    • Great! Weather was very hot during the day, almost unbearable in the afternoon, but it was nice that it was still warm at night. I watched Nation Of Language, Oklou, Ethel Cain, The xx, Gelli Haha and Ninajirachi. All of them were excellent! Heard good things about the Kneecap show too.
