I watched Raw tonight, was pretty decent. Thought Foley - Punk promo was ok, but didn't really make a whole lot of sense. Ryback over the Miz was interesting but why make it non title then hint Ryback to face Punk? I marked out at that by the way, Punk was EXCELLENT on raw, the best he's been for AGES, AJ was stale as fuck, Heyman was awful, the guy is boring the hell out of me which is crazy cus I used to love him but he's just dull and he has been for a long time.

Prime Time Players are getting over great, loving the tag division heating up, also loving they're giving teams names! Kane & Bryan are now Hell No, Sandow & Cody have teamed up and are call Rhode Schollers.

Barrett v Kidd was good, but Barrett is lacking something, before he got injured I thought he was awesome but now he's back something isn't right.

Looking forward to Impact tomorrow, new TV champ being crowned, looking like it will be between Joe & Magnus

Kofi vs Ziggler was one of best matches I've seen on raw this year, possibly a motc contender

Ryback to "surprise" heel turn to help Punk beat Cena at HIAC, joins with Punk and Heyman and a few others for a team at Survivor Series against Team Cena. Cena to win Rumble, to face The Rock (who will beat Punk) at Wrestlemania and take the title.

That's how i see the next few weeks/months going... Nailed it.

Anyone watch Raw, thought it was pretty garbage, Punk v McMahon in the main event was probably as good as it could have been however.

Be interesting to see how Raw changes now Gewirtz has been removed from his position of head writer of Raw, something he's done for the past 13 years.

can't wait for the predictable heel turn that will happen within the next month. and as i said on tweeter its probably for the best as in the last few years its dropped off badly.

some bits of it were decent but as with the last few months its kinda dull on the whole.

to be honest i noticed it while watching. the guy didn't deserve it but to be near him when someone is clearly pissing him off there's going to be trouble especially when in character he's been going round beating people up for a lack of respect..

    • I too am always a bit blurred on what/who constitutes a legend slot but would Sting fit that bill?  Those there said his IoW slot was v good and he has enough of a songbook imo for a Sun afternoon if he uses the Police's 1st 2 albums for a fair chunk of it
    • Thing is, I'd have said that as well.   But then she inexplicably ended up on the Wilderness lineup and that changes everything. I reckon if that goes well, which it will, then she's very much in the picture.
    • This has probably been discussed a hundred times already on efests but what constitutes a legend? I know some of it is my age but I don't see eurithmics or Duran Duran as legend status. Neil young or nils lofgren then yes and neither of them have overly troubled the charts. Duran Duran and indeed the eurithmics I would put in the 80s category and whilst it would be ok (human league at isle of wight we're fabulous) they just arent in my mind legend status.  Zombies played same festival- i would take that.
    • friendly tonight delayed , pitch draining pretty quick to be fair .... not sure it bodes well for other games with potential fixture backlog
