The whole 720p/900p/1080p argument is a bit of a red herring really, the big difference over the last gen is the 60fps thing,

On the Xbox both PGR 3 and 4, and Driver SF, and on both platforms the Modern Warfare engines (but not Black Ops) ran at 60 frames per second. Makes a huge difference.

Lack of 60 fps is what has always kept me away from Battlefield.

Demon'sSouls hooked me for a long time, was a rediculous platinum trophy to get but once you got into it was a lot of fun too lol.

Always planned on doing Dark Souls but after Demon's Souls I wanted a break from getting my arse kicked and havent really gone back lol.

As I got them cheap, gave Witcher 2 and Ghost Recon Future Soldier a shot.

Both great games, but holy hell each of them features TERRIBLE voice acting.

It's very easy once you're used to it. I got 85 the other day, just only tap when you're about to hit the pipe.

5 minutes of absolute skill on BF4 on PC. The guy is a beast, the video is incredibly well edited and scored. Its a joy to watch.

I've been completely addicted to Dark Souls all weekend (just finished Sen's Fortress) so only got round to trying out Hotline Miami on the train this morning. Its like a puzzle game disguised as old school GTA. Strangely compelling and the music is absolutely incredible.

Well Killlzone was a big disappointment. Didn't look as great as I though it would. COD Ghosts is a huge improvement over the ps3 version. So much clearer.

I guess it will be a while before we see them use the full power of the ps4

For the people talking about Flappy birds on the other page, the guy that made it has decided to pull the game tomorrow as he is sick of it. If anyone wanted to try it get it now before it's gone.

The furore over the new Dungeon Keeper for iPad and Android is quite amusing, but ultimately incredibly sad that this is what mobile gaming has now descended to. Eurogamer recently gave it 1/10 and its worth reading the review

A few years ago, mobile gaming was being heralded as the saviour of video gaming, and that no-one would want a games console any more. When 90% of the games are freemium wallet raping shit like this, then console gaming is still looking pretty healthy to me.
