this sounds very suspicious to me Katster, I'd check his texts if I were you. 4G is code in some circles for having an affair. As in "my wife's out for the weekend, I'll be using the 4G network with Jenny instead"

What is going on?!

the complete breakdown of capitalism.

As the money of the rich is now worth fuck all, they're making damned sure that they destroy any wealth of the poor so that the rich's wheelbarrows of cash get to mean something again.

For example, yesterday the UK govt - in their wisdom - proclaimed that the inheritances of the poor are to be officially wiped out, while saying that those deemed rich enough will still get their inheritance by govt guarantee.

And just to add to the sensible policies, they've also proclaimed that the govt will provide the funds to keep a million homes empty - to help support house prices - while the homeless are kept even further away from any chance of a home.

But they're not the same old tory scum, they're reformed and very reasonable people, oh yeah.

I walked down O'Connell St in Dublin, main street in the country, the other night for the first time in a few years and its full of homeless people, junkies etc while we have an astronomical amount of houses/flats etc unoccupied and collecting dust all around the city.

Similar thing happening here in Ireland. A ghost estate in Carlow was sold yesterday for ¤640,000, 10k per home. Its been empty for years.

was watching the coming here soon doc on the beeb, seemed to suggest most of the young Irish are emigrating to the healthier economies like Austrailia. The Japanese episode was the worst though, 20 years of government stimulus doing fuck all, competition for jobs so fierce that people were dropping dead in their 20's from working 15 hr days

Mine went for an hour or two this morning, a black void around my house begun to open up at this suggestion! It was all looking a bit bleak but then I got a text message and the world was right again, full of sunshine lollipops that was I once more connected to everything :P

On a side note, I think companies are not paying enough to their IT workers, so you know get the rises in and this stuff won't happen ;):P
