They haven't played since 2003.

They've sold out three nights on the trot at Brixton, were originally down to headline Bestival, headlined Latitude in 2008, headlined Electric Picnic this year and have been away for a few years so are sought after. They're one of the biggest cult bands going.

They're certainly as big as Flaming Lips, Primal Scream, Orbital and Chemical Brothers now.

I've been saying this for a while but no doubt it won't be anyone as good sad.png Wu Tang Clan and Snoop Dogg have already played and any other rapper i like would likely headline. Although then again if it was just Dr. Dre on his own i don't know where i would put him on a festival line up. If he didn't have Snoop Dogg with him at Coachella he more than likely wouldn't have headlined.

could see Daft Punk headlining the other stage, not on Pyramid for some reason.

NGHFB to sub Pyramid one day, Likewise with Bloc Party

Could also see Justice and maybe The XX headlining JPT

Otherwise would love to see on the lineup:

Boys Noize

Rusko

Two Door Cinema Club

Metronomy

Friendly Fires

Skrillex

Knife Party

Soulwax

Mr. Oizo

SebastiAn - LIVE

Aphex Twin

Death From Above 1979

Fake Blood

Boy 8-Bit

and as a total wildcard, i would LOVE to see Primus play this year, possible?

Would really love Jeff Lynne, those who mentioned him, brilliant idea. Surely he would command a high spot? Listening to Mr Blue Sky in the sun would be immense!

Hope to see Franz Ferdinand in some capacity there too. Not really thought about the line up much yet, so that's all I can come up with now.

I was thinking Dre but as much as it would make my festival there is no chance it will happen. I dont think he will play a solo gig again as it seems like he isnt interested anymore (he has already said he is retiring as soon as Detox comes out)

Only chance we have of Dre playing over here is if he did some kind of Aftermath tour with Snoop, Eminem and one of the young rappers n on the label and I can only see that happening if he ever releases Detox

Any of these could do it though

Cypress Hill (enjoyed them at leeds)

Public Enemy

de la soul

Outkast (dont even know if their still going)

Nas (although might not be well known enough to work, you need a rapper that people know)

Already mentioned but i could really see Public Enemy playing h lot that's been filled in the past two shows by Snoop and Wu-Tang Clan, they're touring now and have had a massive increase in exposure from th Paralympic's using 'Harde Than You Think'.

Also already mentioned but Jeff Lynne, would make an real coup for the Sunday legends slot!

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
