TheSeventhOne
Love Maiden but if it's just the Maiden England set I'll be passing on this.
gazza_20
oh is it Hart Attack? he's a member on here too. Evanescene are going on a break again after this winter tour so doubt they'll be at Download next year
gazza_20
See I thought that too, but I think they could do R&L. I know they're going to be touring but people would still want to see them at the festival. I think the third will be one of: Pearl Jam Green Day Paramore Blink-182 (if they have a new album)
Andre91
Think you can rule Green Day out of Download and R&L (the later I think are locked in for R&L 2014, I might be wrong, it's hunch). Blink do have a newish album in neighbourhoods, just it was shit lol. I really don't want Paramore as I've assigned myself to a day ticket almost for Maiden and i might have to make two trips, not going for the weekend whatever as it's just not for me. gazza_20
Neighborhoods was decent it'll be 2 years old next year though so they won't play without a new album. And why would Green Day play R&L in 2014 when all 3 albums will be toured in 2013? Edited September 20, 2012 by gazza_20
willutalk
Foo Fighters would be a perfect third headliner for this situation!!! While adding variety they'll be able to fulfil the heavyness needed for a Download set. FOO FIGHTERS please!

the_hedge
Where's the Pearl Jam rumour come from ? Don't they usually have a cheaper headliner on the Friday?
Hazz
I personally think muse would be an awesome third headliner especially as the friday seems the only slot left which tends to be the lighter day. Also no doubt have a new album coming out so i hope they play somewhere

AcademicPistol
Thankfully, Muse's Englishness rules them out.

GRichards23
Amazing announcement. Day Ticket is a must at least, even the whole weekend if someone like MCR headlined the Friday...
Luke Routledge
Anyone know when the last headliner gets announced? For me they really need to pull this one out the bag.
jump
When asked how it felt to be playing Download, Rammstein simply commented, "It's only a festival... not a moon landing." http://www.efestivals.co.uk/news/12/120921a.shtml#JiYZpLGcIQ57ap6v.

jammy2211
Looks like Pear Jam then. Wasnt sure on Download after last year not feeling 'right' to me but 3 headliners I really wanna see so guess I'm going again lol. Kudos to them, will attempt not to be fiscally raped through every hole in my body this year by LiverNation.
AcademicPistol
Just to recap on the Pearl Jam rumour. Guy in PJ forum said they are gonna play, who appears to have source (by getting Rammstein & Iron Maiden correct a month before they were announced) They also would fit in the 3 headliners from 3 different countries hint and the had a band member (Matt Cameron) play at DL 2012 clue.
