That moves with time though, and information. As things happen things and opinions change.

1. This was before reflektor went number 1 in the UK

2. There's NOTHING proving they aren't apart from the fact there's no announced dates in july yet.

3. I never said drake was headlining, I said he COULD headline. I always have a feeling that people here deliberately twist my words to make me out as worse than I am. I could twist words on almost anything anyone would say. Find a post where I said drake is 100% headlining.

4. Same as above, at the time it looked like the stones could have been announced, don't point fingers just at me, at the time it was looking likely.

my reputation in the glasto forums is the past, I know I was over the top at times but seriously, why is it so negative here all the time. Why do people get so uptight about everything now!

I feel like people here just need a victim of the month, someone to riddicule, I mean look at the whole gazza thing. He hasn't posted in at least a month yet you all still continue to rip the shit out of him, he hasn't been making wild predictions for at least a year yet you never stop verbally attacking his points.

I'm honestly not surprised that Neil barely ever posts here anymore...

About this Sheffield Arena thing (this is probably way off the mark)... Pearl Jam's tour was originally planned to be announced today (I think someone said that in the Werchter thread), but wasn't. The Sheffield Arena gig was supposed to be announced today, but was delayed, so maybe these events are linked?

Pearl Jam apparently have a Berlin show on sale Friday, which hasn't been announced yet. This must surely mean it's being announced tomorrow. Pearl Jam are apparently announcing all their European dates together, and Sonisphere are announcing their third headliner tomorrow. Again, perhaps linked. Also this Berlin show is around the time of Soni I think.

Just throwing all that out there.

Yeah. Someone mentioned about it possibly being Pearl Jam earlier too. My fingers are crossed anyway.

    • I am as well not a fan of these side by side stages. too many people at the same places and you have always people around you who wait for the other stage...
    • If only they could get the Bits area back (and add maximum 5k capacity) the site would feel less crowded.
    • Blame it on the side-by-side setup. There are cases where it works well - got a great location in front of the middle screen for Bexter Dury-Big Thief-Little Simz, just had to move about 20 meters each time for a great location. But on most cases it sucks
    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
