Has it ever happened were R&L have booked an pretty much objectively better band to sub a weaker headliner in order to make the booking seem better? I'm hoping for Prodigy pls

A band can't be objectively better, and no. If The Prodigy are going to sub a band you don't like, it's because they're bigger/more popular/create more demand than The Prodigy.
