I think it went down really well judging by tweets this morning (when i was searching twitter for a stream) I dont think I saw a negative tweet!

Hope they have improved, as it would just give another option to an industry (judging on this year) is quite starved on headline acts!

Oh good, I'd rather see them than most R&L-type headliners.

Yep I would love to see a good RHCP set.

I assume Bestival, T, R&L and Maybe even V? Would be the only festivals ever really interested in them so should they be given a second chance at R&L they could be a nice and relitivly cheap headliner

I was looking through the highlight counts on the clashfinder for Leeds I put up (pretty much Dentals tbh ) and was quite surprised that JEW were the most popular act with 20%of people highlighting them

Also QOTSA were only the 35th most highlighted and Paramore 30th...

Now oviously i dont expect this to be the case at the festival but quite interesting I thought...

Matt is it the same with your Reading Clashfinder?

I hope FR steer well clear of the chilli's that IOW setlist was dire

'Can't Stop'
'Dani California'
'Otherside'
'Factory Of Faith'
'Snow ((Hey Oh))'
'The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie'
'I Could Have Lied'
'I Like Dirt'
'Blood Sugar Sex Magick'
'Ethiopia'
'Californication'
'By The Way'
'Give It Away'

The amount they've left out is criminal.

Worried that QOTSA will get a small crowd now :( hope not as they should be decent

They'll be fine. They got a positive response on FB when they were announced and even if they got a small crowd they will be still pretty good as you'll get more dedicated fans there. Just look at NIN last year, not many people turned but it was still brilliant

As it has been explained already, they had less time due to curfew.

Small crowds don't matter. Arcade Fire and Radiohead performed well to small crowds.

All of my friends are seeing Jimmy Eat World for the second time that day rather than seeing QOTSA, even though some like QOTSA.

Actually one of them, after saying he was doing that, realised he doesn't like JEW that much and much prefers QOTSA, so is now seeing QOTSA.

RHCP weren't as bad as Arctic Monkeys were in 2009 but they still weren't great. It wasn't a total disaster like people make it out to be, they were just a bit dull and could have been so much better.

Leeds didn't have Kiedis tripping over the cable and fucking their sound up did they? It was a total disaster at Reading.

That's true, but people who were at Leeds also claim they were the worst headliner ever, when the main problem was that they were just a bit flat and clearly tired having being touring for the best part of two years. Also didn't help that they followed two great sets from Bloc Party and Arcade Fire.

I'd say Arctic Monkeys and KOL in 2009 were worse.

Were KOL bad at Leeds? I know someone who was there and he said they were decent. He's not a KOL fan either.

A few people said they found them to be really good but for me personally they were just lifeless. I'd seen them before that and they were so much better.
