2013 Lineup

Yeah but these indie giants aren't available, they have played readings last few years excessively and so they aren't there this year. Like I said, yes less indie people might go, but its getting me back, and 08 which was a arguably "heavy" year did just fine in terms of sales. You win some you loose some, a heavier reading fest in 2013 isn't going to kill off the festival

To be fair, NIN could make sense...assuming Biffy are the sunday and Fall Out Boy are 3rd down, what other viable options would seem to fit between FOB and Biffy?

The XX would be weird and i can see Bloc Party as ideal under Eminem.

The Prodigy could fit but for some reason, i just cant see them subbing to a band that played lower than them last year at download.

NIN does make sense...

Exactly what people have been saying - 08 still had "indie", and so will this year. I think what someone was saying a few posts back about having 1 big indie act that gets people there - Welcome to eminem, your indie replacement bringing in the rap/pop genre. Don't forget there's a new booker this year too, so there's a reason for a slight difference in audience market. I'm sure he knows what he's doing and again, he seems to be bringing me and the rock crowd back along with a bunch of eminem fans.....yay
