Not 100% sure but its missing that kind of guitar feel for me. Like Band of skulls, Blood red shoes, The Vaccines, Eagles of Death Metal, The Courteeners, The Cribs, The Subways, Feeder, and The black keys of last year. I dont mean these are all real great guitar bands but this years line up is short of these kind of acts for me.

Which sort of bands would you suggest would be there?

The whole line up just seems to needed bulking up, but in areas which they wont add any more acts. The eminem day looks very thin on the ground, i like foals but it just seems there should be a vampire weekend/ bloc party type act in between them and chase n status. Plus having fall out boy above deftones then someone like a dizzee, yeah yeah yeahs or the aforementioned acts slot in above lumineers (ha ha ha, disgraceful positioning).

Ummm...every single act on main that isn't Eminem, Chase and Status or Hadouken!...plus most of the NME stage. Plus most of the acts without stages yet. Plus all of the Lock Up once it's announced. And probably the vast majority of the FR and Introducing stages once they're announced.

Indie's dying. There's as much of it there as you could reasonably expect without booking the same bands in the same spots every year.

I counted Foals and Lumineers too, though I can see the argument for not. Either way it's overwhelming.

I think what you mean, Weloveyouneil, is that there happen to be no guitar acts this year that you like. These things happen.

    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
    • Absolutely buzzing if it is Blink    Still can't be 100% sure with Download though
