One singer who does not get a mention who is on the comeback trail and I thought was brilliant in 2009.

Little Boots, sub on the nme? Or not big enough, you young pups should be able to put me in my place and behave as shes to poppy or not big enough.

I was surprised by the Kaiser Chiefs this year, they did get the crowd going, just like Bloc Party will probably do if they sub or play 3rd but with them subbing at IOW I just can't see R+L getting Bloc Party to play anything less than sub.

With the talk of Black Sabbath potentially playing and them still being active and likely to need to promote their new album could it be that when Neil said they were in talks with R+L, instead those talks have lead to one of the Olympic stadium shows that were announced today? Seen as though FR and Live Nation are the same company

The reason they're not getting any press attention is because people are just sick of them! They're no bigger than Kaiser Chiefs were this time last year and they played 3rd down. That's the spot I can see them playing, subbing for the 50,000th time or whatever would just be so boring.

I like the fact that somebody's taken Mumfords addition as a rumour doesn't mean they're a rumoured headliner. I like it a lot. Not sure about the NME headliners but the Mumfords sub thing evaded me too, well done.

Cribs are taking a breather, but Ryan Jarman's solo project could be high up on the FR stage or mid NME if he gets a bit of momentum.

New (sort of) Cribs song will be debuted (sort of) on BBC Radio 6 tonight at 7pm for those who are interested, it's going to be on their compilation album "Payola" released in February.
