Great news on Biffy (well, instead of Mumfords). Still don't think I'll believe Thrash Hits' tweet yet though.

Think all the NME headliners will be sorta indie if it's Eminem, Biffy and then Sabbath or something of that ilk headlining main. Foals, Alt-J, then between Friendly Fires, Noah and the Whale, White Lies.

Someone made a good point the other day about Rise Against headlining the NME, that'd be good against Eminem I think. Alt-J, Rise Against & Foals as NME headliners.

To butt in the A7X conversation, I think they would play 3rd, but would love to see them sub. I think they'd play higher than Deftones, although I think they will play 3rd anyway.

BIFFY!!!!!! this has perked my interest again :D Knew they would be able to headline and it makes alot of sense!

Will be going for a day ticket if nothing else if they don't headline another UK fest! (Which if they do Reading, would be an exclusive festival performance I think!)

Biffy, Eminem against Foals in the NME and Sabbath would get me there for the weekend!

Yeah that's a pretty solid argument; I don't think it's the most likely but you've convinced me a fair bit.

On the flipside though you could argue that as they've got heavy headliners their NME headliners will be more indie, so the "heavy" headliner won't be too heavy, a la Placebo/Manics/My Bloody Valentine.
