How about Springsteen? A bit different to your typical R&L headliner, and would put on one of those performances that would go down in the festival's history.

But what's for certain is that Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party and Blur are without doubt R&L bands and huge R&L bands. QOTSA, Mumford & Sons, Pendulum and Dizzee Rascal would also be huge R&L subs. But unless, download suddenly dedide they are willing to give QOTSA a sub spot, Mumford's next album isn't the R&L way, I can't see anything but those 4 being in the sub mix. The only annoying this is with it being 10 years of Bramham Park next year, you can't write off Kaiser Cheifs returning to take a sub spot - and if so, it'd be one of the worst decisions they made.

If Foo Fighters are not telling this festival out yet and are the main selling point by a fair bit, then I can't ever see Pearl Jam doing it again. It's been 6 years and in that time, the fest has changed a lot. I'm surprised we even got the amount of 'heavier' music we did this year.

I don't even know how many people want The Killers back now, they seem so much ore a V band now. I think depending on how Mumford's new album sounds will depend on wether they go from being a R&L band to a V Fest band.

    • Possibly not as there are chair size restrictions in the seated area, for the guidelines see here -  https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/bring   Have a look into applying for Access and I would recommend contacting them for further advice before buying a ticket - https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/access  They should also be able to answer if you can take a wheelchair into the seated area 🙂
