Here Here !

Saw an old fave band of mine on Friday night who I'd love to see at Kendal, the mighty Cud. I'd bang them on before Craig Charles on the sunday. They even inspired my first adventure in the mosh pit for a few years

And I daren't talk about what I do, not cool, Monty Python killed any chance of that

Ha ha only joking Lakeland, how grims the weather been over your way today then ? Some great pics here of lightening around the tyne bridge and the rain seems to have caused havoc in the area.

Hate to have been setting up me tent today !

Anyone looking for a proper decent tent this Vango one http://www.yeomansoutdoors.co.uk/products/tents/2-4-man-tents/vango-alpha-250.aspx has been reduced and there's free delivery and 10% off today only so worked out at about 36 quid. 3000mm HH too which swayed me judging by the recent wet weather.

I've only ever been to Kendal in good weather so fingers crossed it's not too bad this year

Just finished watching the footy with probably 1 too many ciders for a school night. What the fork has happened to this normally interesting and informative thread ? The last few pages reads like something from the job centre with some Japanese porn thrown in ?!?!

Maybe this rain is driving us all mental. Here`s hoping were due 3 weeks of sun to dry out them fields. Taliking about due....... Congrats Ramragon. Your sorted for designated driver for your summer festival season. All the best sir !

    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.

    • More O2 December dates gone and still no Paul McCartney shows announced
    • Quick question. Rather enjoyed the Rhubarb Cider from the bars. I know Thatchers did the pump ciders but who made the Rhubarb Cider?
    • Top 5 acts of the weekend for me: 1. The Cure 2. my bloody valentine  3. caroline 4. Father John Misty 5. Big Thief   Biggest disappointments: - Slowdive (the mixing/sound just wasn’t right, and that was about 20 rows from the front of the stage) - The xx (also too quiet and marred by talkers who had no interest in the music)    Positives from an organisational sense: - extra water point at Mordor this year - handing out ponchos before the rain and ear plugs before mbv    However…two of the water points had ran out on Saturday evening, which is completely unacceptable when you stop people from bringing in large bottles of water, and charge €4.50 at the bars for a 330ml can
