We need some 'fresh blood' as well.....surely it can be just the usual suspects going? There's a handful of regular posters (even ones who aren't going eh lakeland), a handful of occasional posters and a handful of rare posters.....come one all you 'watchers', join in the fun!!

Has anyone ever got the coach from Manchester on the Friday? Just wondering what the traffic up there is like seeing as I can't make it on the Thursday now. Getting the train would be ideal but the prices have shot up since last year

I think Tim Burgess is announcing another act for his Tim Peaks bit too

Friday looks thin full stop on the main stage pre-Maximo....Scroobious Pip, DJ Yoda and The Correspondents is all we have at the mo.....there has to be someone 'bigger' (last year we had Echo & The Bunnymen before The Cribs on the Saturday)

I also read it as lots of acts, rather than a big announcement. Always frustrates me when festivals wont release the full line up. Bingley has always been a bugger for that.

If Tim Burgess is making it to do some reading from his book, surely he can bring the rest of the lads with him. Of have i just imagined that he is doing some reading?

Well thought i'd put my first post here - really enjoyed watching you guys giving your thoughts over the last few weeks. My first KC this year as well as my little girls first festival. Normally do a couple of festivals a year - just realised first was 26 years ago !!

Really hoping for Kassidy on the lineup on Friday. Saw them a few weeks ago and were awesome

I'm with you on this one...my Spider senses tell me the Charlatans will DEFINITELY be on the Saturday before Dizzee.

Actually, thats a point...he's doing that diner thing and he won't be there Friday or Sunday as the Charlies have gigs those days.

I forgot about the acoustic set last year...worrying really as I saw it at the IOW as well.

Yeah, think theres about 6 of us...maybe more, maybe less (organising anything with my lot is bloody impossible)

Just say 'Oi! You're 5 years old, stop swearing!'

Bit worried that I want to see the same act as a 5 year old...he is very good live though.

With all the noise and stuff doubt he'll be able to make out individual words anyway...especially standing near the back

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)
