Friday:

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - I've wanted to see these guys for YEARS

White Denim - having seen live videos of them on the 'tube I have a feeling this will be one of the sets of the weekend.

Saturday:

Timber Timbre - New album is brilliant and Demon Host will be perfect. I just wish they were playing a later set :(

M. Ward - Poison Cup and Chinese Translation please

Sunday:

Megafaun - one of my favourite bands, unmissable

Woods - ditto above

Top 5 so far (only counted the first two bands given by rule breakers seadragon and geof :P):

Okkervil River - 7

Megafaun - 4

John Grant - 4

White Denim - 3

Tinariwen - 3

Okkervil River way out in front but it's good to see some love for Megafaun!

My only must-sees are Midlake and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. I'm looking forward to this fest because there's a lot of good bands, but no-one that I'm obsessed with seeing. So I'm free to go with the flow and go wherever seems interesting at the time :). Whereas last year I didn't move an inch from the main stage on Sunday (which was great because I saw three of my favourite bands, but this will be great too...)

So, what are Megafaun like live, then? Been listening to them a lot today and hearing a lot of good things going on but it's a bit like listening to an unthemed compilation/sampler. Every track sounds like it's by a different band. Just wondering if there's more of a consistent 'vibe' in their live set.
